Story
Heyyy Y'all! I'm Harper. I'm a Georgia peach with my sweet disposition and friendly personality. I'm a people pleaser who loves making friends. My foster family calls me “sweet thang”. I've got the crate training down real good, but I do sometimes have accidents in the house when I don't wanna leave playing (foster family is working on it). I'm super smart and can catch on to tricks real fast as long as it makes you happy. Please be gentle with me as I had a hard past and just want to be loved. I’m a beautiful chocolate and who doesn’t like chocolate? Apply to adopt me today on the MACS Friends website!September 25, 2023, 6:59 pm

Story
Meet Chaco! Hi, there! My name is Chaco and I am a beautiful Brown/Tan Doberman Pinscher Mix. I am 1.5 years old and weigh at a healthy 39 pounds and I am fully grown so I won't get any bigger. I am very sweet, friendly, and will definitely win over your heart with my mad snuggling skills. I love everyone that I meet as I am not shy when it comes to new smiling faces. I'm always on the hunt for more kisses and cuddles. I love all dogs of all sizes as I play with my fur friend Candy all day long! When I'm not playing with my fur friends or being your snuggle bug, I am the goodest boy in my crate, too. I am a people pleaser so I would be able to learn new things quickly, and I already know the command "sit". I perfer human interaction over playing with toys, because cuddles are better than anything! My ideal home would be with an active family or human who is looking for a true best friend to play, run, and snuggle with! I would love to spend more time with other dogs as well, so if you have another dog I would love to meet them! I am currently up for adoption. If you are interested in meeting with me, please fill out an application online or call the Humane Society of Forsyth County at 770-887-6480 for more information on me, Tuesday through Sunday. Love, Chaco!

Story
Meet ”Frannie.  We were told Frannie’s dad was in the military and deployed, leaving three Dobermans with no where to go. The boys found safety, but the person who was going to take her, planned to breed her asap. As soon as we found out about the situation we knew we needed to help.  Frannie was spayed/completely vetted this week and now is safe with us. It’s so sad because her world has been turned upside down and if you know the breed - you know how sensitive they are. We saw a picture of her laying in the sunshine tucked against her brothers, and just a week ago it all changed. This big baby is about as tender hearted as they come. Dobermans are often referred to as “dogs with the human mind” because they are to intune to what owners are feeling too. Needless to say this has been a lot for her.Frannie is 1.5-2 years old and 80 pounds.  Frannie needs a dobie loving home where she can thrive and be cherished. She’s been great with all the dogs she’s met thus far, but as for squirrels and cats it’s a no! For more info please contact us asap! Please share with any Doberman lovers you know as well. We all thank you for helping us make these happily ever after s happen. Email adrienne@rescuemega.org PLEASE NOTE: Previous firsthand ownership experience with purebred Dobermans is a strict requirement to adopt Frannie  ##1703116##

Story
Meet Pop Tart! This gorgeous girl had a rough start with AARF. After spending nearly a month at animal control, she was attacked by her kennel mates at the shelter. Her injuries needed immediate vet care, and she spent the first 2 weeks of her time out of animal control at the vet's office. After battling a bad case of kennel cough and a long recovery from her injuries, Pop Tart is now happy and healthy and ready to find her forever home. Our best guess is that she is a red Doberman / pit bull mix, which means she is incredibly athletic, sweet and snuggly and very loyal. Pop Tart seems to be a little too interested in cats and other small critters, so would do best in a home without small furry friends. She needs an active family, one that up for daily playtime and some adventures! Pop Tart is completely house and crate trained and already knows 'sit' and 'shake'. She loves to play, but also enjoys a good snuggle on the couch in the evening. If you think Pop Tart would be a good fit for your family, fill out an application today! Pop Tart has Paw Pals: Terry and Jean K of Atlanta, GA!September 24, 2023, 1:14 pm
