Story
This handsome dober-dude is Duncan. We are estimating him to be around 4 years old, he came to us as a stray so we don't know exactly. Duncan is cautious around strangers but once he knows you, he is very friendly. He has a job to do and that is to check out his yard each time he goes out. Once he knows all is secure, a good game of chase the toys is in order. Duncan isn't too trusting of other dogs, so he will need to be in an only dog home. No kitties for Duncan either. Duncan does enjoy walking and will thrive with a family that is committed to do some obedience training. Since Duncan has shown he will wander off, he will need a home with a physically fenced yard.

Story
Leo is a regal 4 year old red Doberman that is docked with natural ears. He is vetted and ready for his forever home. He bonds quickly and is a typical watch dog and thus can be aloof meeting new people. Leo is sweet, athletic and relatively high energy. He is a traditional curious velcro Doberman. You will never have to go to the bathroom alone again! He enjoys running in the yard, eating, and playing. Unlike most Dobes, he can catch and fetch. He loves going on walks and continues to work on his leash skills. He would do well at agility and has a good recall. He keeps squirrels out of the yard and likes watching animal planet He is 100% housebroken and crate trained. He is vocal but does not bark much. Leo can be mouthy and get excited easily and therefore is not recommended for a house with kids. He is currently in a foster with a female Doberman. He does like to have the last word and doesn’t like to share his toys so is not a good fit with all dogs and would do great as an only dog. If Leo sounds like a good fit, please put in an application!

Meet Bonnie & Clyde – A Bonded Pair Looking for Their Forever Home! Bonnie (9) and Clyde (7) are a senior bonded pair of Dobermans with hearts as big as their names are iconic. These two beautiful souls were sadly abandoned in their golden years, but they haven’t let that dim their gentle spirits or their deep love for one another. Bonnie is more dependent on Clyde for comfort and confidence. Where he goes, she follows—and he wouldn’t have it any other way. They’ve been tested with a mellow female Doberman and did well, but have not done well with other dogs so will need to be just the 2 of them. They’ll need a cat-free home to truly thrive. Affectionate, loving, and eager for human companionship, Bonnie and Clyde are the kind of dogs that will steal your heart without a second thought. All they need is a soft spot to land and a family willing to open their home—and hearts—to two dogs who simply want to love and be loved. Can you give them the safe, happy retirement they deserve?

Story
Aero is a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old red boy in search of his forever home. He loves playing fetch with his favorite ball and enjoys snuggling on the couch with his humans. Aero is passionate about walks and gets thrilled when you grab his leash, though he does need some improvement with his leash manners. He would prefer a home without other animals. This charming fellow needs a household with children aged 12 and older, as well as a physically fenced yard. Aero can be quite shy and often retreats to his “safe space” around new people or in crowded situations. He requires extra care during storms, fireworks, or any loud noises. He is fully housebroken and crate trained, he sleeps well in his crate but prefers to be close to his owners at night. Aero is neutered, micro chipped, and up-to-date vaccinations, and preventative.

Story
UPDATE: Coco “Bean” came to BDR a few months ago, so overweight walking the neighborhood was too much. Today, the slimmer girl is now doing interval training with her foster mom. Her high prey drive makes way for hours in the yard squirrel hunting, she even try to climb the trees with her new figure. She will do better with similar sized dogs. This lady loves and demands cuddles and sometimes you can get a glimpse of a grin. ——————————- Coco is a stunningly beautiful fawn girl that is 8 years old. Her life has been spent being a Mama dog but now it's time for Coco to be spoiled. Her foster Mom says Coco is the sweetest girl she has ever had. Loves to lay in the sunshine. But like many dobies does not care for fireworks or thunderstorms. To soothe her during these stressful times she will carry around her foster Mom's shoe and that makes her feel better. Guess it's like having her puppies again. Currently lives with a very young dobie boy and she tolerates him for the most part. As you can imagine Coco isn't wanting to be bothered with a young pup too much, she has done that enough in life. Coco is looking for a family that wants to treat her like the queen bee that she deserves to be. A stroll around the neighborhood or just relaxing in the yard with her people will be her ideal day.
