Boss is about one year old. He is very sweet and lovable. Extremely energetic and wants to be around people. Loves to play catch, tug-of-war, rough house play. Will cuddle up and sleep with you. He really is a great dog. we just do not have the time or energy to give him the attention he needs. We have done basic training like sit and stay with him. He really would be very well behaved, if someone just has the time to do it. He has lived with a cat which he likes to chase. He has lived with an older female dog who he always tries to play with, but she is not interested! He gets nervous around strangers at first, but after being introduced is fine. He currently lives with multiple people, but has never really interacted with very young children. He does not currently have any health concerns that we are aware of. This precious girl named Minnie Mae was saved by our rescue on her last day at a rural shelter that was overcrowded. She is in a very temporary foster situation and looking for her own family. She could also benefit from a long term foster that is equipped to walk her etc. Minnie is not safe at her current foster home as they are unable to walk her and she has gotten away from them at times. She always comes back to their house, but it's not safe for her to be running loose. Minnie Mae is approximately 2 years old and appears to be a doberman/lab mix.Minnie Mae is active and playful and loves to go out for walks and explore in the yard. She also loves car rides. She is 100% house trained and has been good with all people she's met. Minnie loves her toys and will occupy herself, but also needs to get her energy out. We recommend a fenced yard where she can run. Her ideal situation would be with someone who's home alot so they can keep her busy. She is a total 100% good girl who is happy when she has her favorite people, some toys, tasty snacks, and a chance to enjoy a nice sniffy walk outside. Zara`s favorite activity? Good ol` fashion game of FETCH! Meet Virginia! This adorable girl (approximately 49 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She is friendly, social, and very outgoing - the type of confident pup who is ready and waiting to be your best friend. At 10 months old, Virginia is what we call a "teenage puppy," meaning that she has nearly attained her adult size. but her brain is still wired in puppy mode. Virginia has a lot of energy, which is typical of a puppy her age, and she walks well on leash, which is surprisingly good for a puppy her age! Virginia loves other dogs and happily participated in doggie play groups at her previous shelter. Jade (approximately 50 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She is a super sweet lady who can be initially anxious in new situations but she warms up quickly, especially when some baby talk and a snack treat (or two) are involved. She loves people and is usually at the front of her kennel with her tail wagging, waiting for a walk or a treat. Jade walks well on leash and often has her nose to the ground for a sniffari (get it - a sniffing safari?), which tracks because we believe she is part hound and that breed group is VERY nose-driven. Jade was excellent for her veterinary exam, adding the veterinarian to her ever-growing fan club. She participated in doggie play groups at her previous shelter and loves other dogs - in fact, when she is out on leash and see other dogs, she always gravitates towards them. Jade was living 100% outdoors at her previous shelter, so she will likely need a potty training reminder once she's in her fur-ever home with her beloved (and patient) people. Priscilla was found stray in a busy street along with her sister and owners were not found. She is approx. 1 yr old and weighs around 55lbs. She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She gets jumpy when is excited so it is something you will have to work on.
