This precious girl named Minnie Mae was saved by our rescue on her last day at a rural shelter that was overcrowded. She is in a very temporary foster situation and looking for her own family. She could also benefit from a long term foster that is equipped to walk her etc. Minnie is not safe at her current foster home as they are unable to walk her and she has gotten away from them at times. She always comes back to their house, but it's not safe for her to be running loose. Minnie Mae is approximately 2 years old and appears to be a doberman/lab mix.Minnie Mae is active and playful and loves to go out for walks and explore in the yard. She also loves car rides. She is 100% house trained and has been good with all people she's met. Minnie loves her toys and will occupy herself, but also needs to get her energy out. We recommend a fenced yard where she can run. Her ideal situation would be with someone who's home alot so they can keep her busy. Ozzy is a 2-year-old Doberman. We have had Ozzy since he was a puppy. Due to an upcoming move and the need to significantly reduce our pack of five dogs, we’re hoping to find a loving home for him where he can thrive. Ozzy is everything you would expect from a Doberman – intelligent, athletic, and incredibly responsive to training. He is house trained, leash trained, and follows most commands such as sit, stay, come, and lay down. His quick learning ability makes him a joy to work with, and his energy and athleticism make him the ideal partner for hiking, long walks, or any active lifestyle. He gets along well with other dogs and cats, and his well-mannered nature means he’s the kind of dog you can bring anywhere without worry. He just had his annual physical this month, and the vet was extremely pleased with his health, describing him as being in tremendous shape. If you appreciate the Doberman breed and are looking for a remarkable dog to join your family, Ozzy is for you!

Story
Sorrel would be such an awesome dog to train! He’d be a great working dog of some sort! Here he is sitting and waiting before thresholds. While I don’t have the time to do this with every single dog, it’s always amazing when I have time to work with some of them! Sorrel is one of my favorites to train— he’s highly food and toy motivated and learns really fast! I’m NOT a professional dog trainer (as you can see his “heel” isn’t very well-placed) but any kind of basic obedience is better than none! Sorrel can be wild at times, but during our short training sessions, he is always focused and eager to please!!
