Boss is about one year old. He is very sweet and lovable. Extremely energetic and wants to be around people. Loves to play catch, tug-of-war, rough house play. Will cuddle up and sleep with you. He really is a great dog. we just do not have the time or energy to give him the attention he needs. We have done basic training like sit and stay with him. He really would be very well behaved, if someone just has the time to do it. He has lived with a cat which he likes to chase. He has lived with an older female dog who he always tries to play with, but she is not interested! He gets nervous around strangers at first, but after being introduced is fine. He currently lives with multiple people, but has never really interacted with very young children. He does not currently have any health concerns that we are aware of. This precious girl named Minnie Mae was saved by our rescue on her last day at a rural shelter that was overcrowded. She is in a very temporary foster situation and looking for her own family. She could also benefit from a long term foster that is equipped to walk her etc. Minnie is not safe at her current foster home as they are unable to walk her and she has gotten away from them at times. She always comes back to their house, but it's not safe for her to be running loose. Minnie Mae is approximately 2 years old and appears to be a doberman/lab mix.Minnie Mae is active and playful and loves to go out for walks and explore in the yard. She also loves car rides. She is 100% house trained and has been good with all people she's met. Minnie loves her toys and will occupy herself, but also needs to get her energy out. We recommend a fenced yard where she can run. Her ideal situation would be with someone who's home alot so they can keep her busy. Jade (approximately 50 pounds) was transferred to the NHSPCA from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She is a super sweet lady who can be initially anxious in new situations but she warms up quickly, especially when some baby talk and a snack treat (or two) are involved. She loves people and is usually at the front of her kennel with her tail wagging, waiting for a walk or a treat. Jade walks well on leash and often has her nose to the ground for a sniffari (get it - a sniffing safari?), which tracks because we believe she is part hound and that breed group is VERY nose-driven. Jade was excellent for her veterinary exam, adding the veterinarian to her ever-growing fan club. She participated in doggie play groups at her previous shelter and loves other dogs - in fact, when she is out on leash and see other dogs, she always gravitates towards them. Jade was living 100% outdoors at her previous shelter, so she will likely need a potty training reminder once she's in her fur-ever home with her beloved (and patient) people. What you feel from Knox when you meet him is hope and an energy that he wants to learn and grow in to a phenomenal Doberman. Born on Christmas Day of 2025 this sweet puppy had all the hope in the world of a great life ahead. Somehow the stable future got sidetracked and he was not treated well in his first adoptive home. What happened next was a kind young couple heard of his plight and need for a new place and eagerly took him home without doing all the homework on the needs of a smart Doberman. They could not give him the big fenced yard and the time that a Doberman of his caliber needs. They have tried to be what he needs but they realize he needs so much more. With love they are asking Critter Cavalry Rescue to help them find his forever home soon but with much scrutiny. This 70 pound boy at just 10 months must not be placed in hands that are not capable and knowledgeable of the breed. Professor Knox is a sweet soul that has no aggression or fear. He is still so innocent in his time to learn and a sponge to be shaped and molded in to greatness. Professor Knox is a boy that needs more time out and about in the world so that he can be a great Ambassador for his breed. He loves cats and has his 'own' cat in this second home that he is in now. He needs a dog to play with . The current dogs in his home are old and over the excitement of youth. Knox deserves a youthful playmate. He is housebroken, crate trained and knows how to manage a doggie door. Professor is a lover and not a fighter but if someone he does not know comes to the house and he greets them, he will stand between the visitor and his owner. Natural Doberman character. He is truly not leash savvy at all. He will need a new owner to train him on that and perhaps a harness will work best. He is not a chewer but he will gather things from around the house and put in his dog bed. This boy has the nature of a protector and a lover. A smart dog that is the best of his breed. He is still young and learning and we want a Doberman savvy family to adopt him and polish his nature talents to the fullest shine!!!! Priscilla was found stray in a busy street along with her sister and owners were not found. She is approx. 1 yr old and weighs around 55lbs. She is a little shy first but then warms up quickly, she is house and crate trained but will need more positive reinforcement. She does get along with other dogs and walks well on a leash. She gets jumpy when is excited so it is something you will have to work on.
