*Cannoli's adoption is sponsored -  her adoption fee is $0.00 for an approved applicant!*    Cannoli is a sweet girl who turned 1 in December 2023.  She is looking for a family to give her a chance to thrive. Cannoli is a little shy around new people but is also silly and playful once she warms up! She is a tall, lean, beautiful young lady around 80 pounds who has quite a bit of energy as she's still a pup at heart.  She likes walks and will play fetch but seems equally happy chilling out and getting her tummy rubbed.  She knows basic commands - come, sit, down - and is pretty ladylike on a leash.  She is very smart, eager to please and has great manners, however we are told she recently started showing aggression towards her family's other dog so she was returned to the shelter to find a new home. This sweet young lady just needs a home where she has the proper guidance and consistency to help her thrive! If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application.  Once it has been processed then we can make a date to get together! All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice. Forever in Foster CareReina will be a forever foster in DRM's Program and is NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION.    Meet Reina! This girl is 7 years old and is handicapable! Reina was originally rescued from a high kill shelter by an all breed rescue. It was apparent she suffered from neurological issues, but nothing could be found on x-rays of her spine. DRM then stepped in and welcomed Reina into our program to get the help needed so she can thrive!   Reina was born with a condition that caused the nerves from her back legs to brain to not map completely. Sometimes she can be a bit wobbly and sometimes she suffers from incontinence. She is on a special diet that has helped a lot with her potty issues though!  Reina’s favorite activities include snuggling her humans, chewing on bones, going for walks, playdates with her friends and exploring the yard. She also LOVES to chase rabbits and squirrels! When she’s tuckered out, she’ll sunbathe looking out the window or hang out with her foster family.  Reina has lived with other dogs and cats – she’s awesome with dogs but can be very curious about her feline friends. Reina is super smart and knows all the basic commands. Her recall is great (as long as she’s not scouting for bunnies or squirrels) and she is very food motivated to learn anything else you’d like to teach her. Sunny was surrendered to DRM in 2018 after her owner passed away and has been loved by her foster mom since then. Sunny is a smart girl and knows all of her basic commands. She also lets you know when she must go outside by pawing at your hand and giving you a quick kiss. She loves to run around in the yard and when she’s tired out, she wants to rest by your side.   Sunny wants nothing more than to be by your side and craves attention. Happy Go-Lucky Boy Wiley is ready to meet his forever family!Happy Go-Lucky Boy Wiley is ready to meet his forever family! Wiley is a 5 year old Dobie mix. He finds himself looking for a yet another home through no fault of his own. Wiley was surrendered back to DRM when his owner became ill and could no longer take care of him. He is shy and takes a while to warm up to new people. He would do best in a home with a submissive female or no other animals, though he doesn't mind cats. He's very food motivated so his foster mom is taking full advantage of that with his training. Wiley is crate trained and will go to his crate when prompted to but also does well left out. He will whimper, and he can and will get out of his crate, but normally does just fine once he realizes he's alone. Wiley loves his rope toys and any toy he can shake. Wiley is currently on some inexpensive anxiety meds to help build his confidence and they seem to be working. He does have a higher prey drive and has gone through some tie outs so a physical fence will be REQUIRED . This fabulous foster is a Doberman Rescue Minnesota foster dog. Say Hello to our red boy Moosey!Newer to Doberman Rescue Minnesota and available for adoption  The big red guy named Moose, is a 1 1/2 year old neutered lump of love. He is extremely gentle, quiet, polite and wants to be with his person all day long if he has something to say about it! He is learning how to help outside when it is time to do chores and he has to tend to the horses and chickens too. His foster is working on his recall and he is starting to get it but when he's focused on something he tends to turn off the ears lately. He is crate trained, house trained and he is learning fast all his obedience skills. He is great with other dogs that he has been around and he is even good with the two kitties in the home.  He loves to go for walks on the property and on the trails and his leash skills are drastically improving and a mention of his name and he knows not to walk so fast and then he gets right back in pace with his foster again. He is great with car rides and running errands. Is very good with meeting new people and he is not a barker. This boy is an absolute cuddle bunny and waits for couch time with foster at night watching tv or laying by the fireplace and then the best is bedtime when he can snuggle right in on all the blankies.   If you are looking for the best companion this is your boy!
