Mahpiya aka (Makki) she is a rescue we adopted her at 2 months old now is 9 months. She is the most loving dog but needs a farm (herding) or a job like sledding. She is 17 different breeds main breeds Doberman german shepherd and 1/3 herding breeds (we got a DNA test done). Makki is 53lbs and growing. She love to play fetch. Balls and toy snakes are her favorite. Loves to be outside. She loves cuddle time. She does great getting groomed. Loves the water! She loves working/ training! Needs a lot of attention so someone that is available all day to be with her would be great. She did great at boarding with other dogs. She loves kids just is so overly excited so she gets riled up a bit. She is confident but shy. Great in public and the car. She is spayed and up date would like to visit with her and see the home she would be going to! Just want a good fit for her!

New to DRM, stay tuned for more info!! Meet Dante!   Dante is a young, happy-go-lucky Doberman who’s ready to find his forever home! He’s healthy, active, and full of love with a little character from some old scarring on his face and eye (don’t worry, his vision is perfect!).   -  About Dante:   He’s adapting so quickly to his new foster home and is crate trained, quiet in the car, and learning to signal when he needs to go out.   -  Personality:   Playful, affectionate, and a total goof! Dante loves toys, gives gentle “cob” nibbles (his way of saying he loves you), and soaks up belly rubs and back massages. He can be shy with certain men at first, especially if they’re wearing hats, but warms up quickly!   -  Ideal Home:   A fenced yard is a must for this energetic boy. He enjoys walks, does well with other dogs, and loves kids. He’s smart and knows sit, down, shake, and spin.   -   Bonus:  He’s also a world-class cuddler who’s just as happy snoozing on the couch as he is running in the yard.     He is located in the lower part of our adoption territory. Story
Meet Killian! Killian is a 5-year-old sweetheart with a big heart and an even bigger love for cuddles. He’s on a fish-based diet (no chicken for this guy!) and thrives on a consistent potty schedule to keep things running smoothly. People: Killian loves adults and teens, and always looks forward to greeting people at the door! He hasn’t met many little ones, but his playful energy might be a bit much for small kids. Dogs: He has been in a home with dogs in the past, but he is currently a solo dog. With slow intros, this guy could thrive with a playmate or as an only child! Cats/Small Animals: Killian has a bit of a prey drive and will chase if a cat runs, but he’s learning to stay calm with guidance and close supervision. Favorite Things: Chew toys, frozen lick mats, and snuggling on the couch are his love language. He’ll even bring you a stuffed toy when he wants attention!  Training: Killian is working on his crate training, but he currently does best outside of the crate at night and while his foster mom is out. He is also learning obedience skills and leash manners, but is picking up quickly!  Killian is a loyal, goofy companion ready to find his forever home with someone who’ll love his playful spirit and big personality. Story
Forever in Foster Care Meet Reina! This girl is 8 years old and is handicapable!  Reina will be a forever foster in DRM's Program and is NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION.  Her foster family and DRM have devoted themselves to keeping Reina in their home, where she will be cared for and loved for the rest of her life. Reina was originally rescued from a high kill shelter by an all breed rescue. It was apparent she suffered from neurological issues, but nothing could be found on x-rays of her spine. DRM then stepped in and welcomed Reina into our program to get the help needed so she can thrive!   Reina was born with a condition that caused the nerves from her back legs to brain to not map completely. Sometimes she can be a bit wobbly and sometimes she suffers from incontinence. She is on a special diet that has helped a lot with her potty issues though!  Reina’s favorite activities include snuggling her humans, chewing on bones, going for walks, playdates with her friends and exploring the yard. She also LOVES to chase rabbits and squirrels! When she’s tuckered out, she’ll sunbathe looking out the window or hang out with her foster family.  Reina has lived with other dogs and cats – she’s awesome with dogs but can be very curious about her feline friends. Reina is super smart and knows all the basic commands. Her recall is great (as long as she’s not scouting for bunnies or squirrels) and she is very food motivated to learn anything else you’d like to teach her. She is a hit around the neighborhood with her sunny disposition and love of everyone she meets.  March 7, 2026, 3:24 pm

Meet Kaiser! Handsome Kaiser is new to DRM and still getting settled into his foster home. Like our friends Pearl and Ember, Kaiser is a sensitive soul who can be fear-reactive in certain situations. He’s learning that the world isn’t such a scary place, but he’ll need time, patience, and gentle guidance to help him gain confidence. Kaiser will require slow introductions with people and other dogs. He’ll thrive in a home with an experienced Doberman owner—someone who understands the breed’s intelligence and sensitivity. Training will be an essential part of his journey, and his ideal match will be an assertive, calm, and confident leader who can provide consistency and reassurance as he learns to trust. With time, structure, and love, Kaiser has the potential to blossom into a loyal, devoted companion. We can’t wait to see him gain confidence and show the wonderful dog we know he can be.
