'Buddy loves to play and has given our old dogs some good exercise.' Buddy is your bud if you are looking for a cool, fun dog to take on adventures or hang out on quiet evenings channel surfing. He is up or whatever you have planned! Background: Buddy is another Houston casualty of an irresponsible owner. He was found tangled up in a gas meter by his anchor wire still attached to his collar. It was his good fortune to be found across the street from his foster mom and dad who are dog lovers. Buddy was severely malnourished and had some skin issues just beginning. Despite his condition, he has maintained a sweet and happy demeanor and has been a good houseguest. Personality: Buddy is a well mannered dog who enjoys meeting and being around people. He is respectful and will not jump on you. He really enjoys his walks, which help to expend some of his young energy, and walks well. Buddy is a medium on the energy scale. Buddy is now in a home with several other dogs and has done fabulously. He wants to play with other dogs and would do well with another balanced, playful dog. But he would do well as the only dog too. Buddy is very smart and food motivated so training him would be very easy. He is already very responsive to recall and some commands such as place and kennel. Buddy is a talker, complaining when its time to turn off the lights or waiting for his turn to walk. Health: Buddy has been raw fed with skin supplements which have really boosted his health. His skin issues have resolved and he has a beautiful glossy red coat. Buddy has been neutered, is HW negative, UTD on vaccines and ready to find a home. Home: Buddy would do well in a home with another playful, balanced dog. He would enjoy playing with older children in the home but we would not put him in a home with small children because of his energy level. He would do well as a running companion or going on an early morning bike ride. Buddy is a young boy and needs daily exercise to be a good companion. Experience with the breed a plus as his protective traits should be cultivated, not punished. Dobby is 2 years old. He is a wonderful dog. 75-80lbs I’m going to include everything I can think of about Dobby Pros and Cons because I love him and want him to find the right home. Pros: *Off leash trained with excellent recall. He heals well but gets distracted easily so you have to keep an eye on him.(trained on E-collar) *Never had an accident in the house. *almost never barks (he will not bark if someone knocks on the door). *no aggression whatsoever. He’s a sweetheart *loves dogs *loves people *loves to splash but not a great swimmer *kennel trained *loves to run and play tug Cons: *good but not excellent on a leash. (He’s walked almost exclusively off leash) *wants to be right on top of you and will be persistent unless you set a boundary *plays rough. Not aggressive but is very physical and wants to wrestle. *moderate shedder. *if he has access to paper he will shred it. Needs to be able to run and play daily he is NOT a dog for a sedentary person.

Charlie is a loving and energetic Doberman. She loves walks, to cuddle , and play with her dog siblings and toys. Charlie needs someone who can spend time with her and take her on walks and play with her. Unfortunately, I have a busy schedule and no longer have that time or space to do these things with her. She deserves someone who has this time. A friend of mine found Charlie on the side of the road in a cage as a small puppy. We took her in and have had her for 3 years. Unfortunately, we’ve had to downsize and work more so our life is no longer suitable for the time and exercise she needs. Charlie knows basic commands and is potty trained and loves to go on walks. She is reactive to dogs sometimes only if they are too close as she is a breed who is a protector but has never attacked another dog and loves to play with her sibling dogs. She’s anxious to new people but quickly adjusts . Charlie loves to nibble on her blankets and is a big baby at heart.
