Jackie is 8-year-old black Lab/Rhodesian Ridgeback mix with the sweetest temperament. She is healthy, hardy, gentle, active and wonderful with people and kids. She will do anything and everything with her owners, other than swim, not a fan of water! Jackie loves lounging near her people, going on walks, runs, hikes, going on car rides and receiving gentle attention and affection. She has a very calm personality and would do great in a family home or with someone looking for a loyal companion dog. Wherever her owners are, she can be found! She doesn't need a huge yard, just a good walk every day and she is ready to chill inside. Jackie is house-trained and has basic command down. She is also crate-trained, does well in the car and is great on a leash. She is spayed and has no medical conditions or dietary needs. She does not get along with other female dogs, but is so sweet to all people. We are looking for a loving, responsible home that will treat her like family.

Diesel is a sweet dog who loves to play tug of war, chase a tease pole or go for long walks. He’s 8 years old so a little bit older, but he is very energetic and you wouldn’t know he’s older. He has some anxiety issues and currently takes Prozac, he is a bit sensitive to noises outside the home, so he would probably thrive in a quieter setting. He does have lipomas that appear as lumps on his body but the vet says they are benign and not a concern. Diesel is such a good boy but because we have a newborn it’s difficult to give him the time and attention he needs, he would thrive with active people, or somebody with kids who would love a playmate and cuddle buddy.

Hunter goes by Little Man. He is a very affectionate and snuggly boy who loves time with his human more than anything. Although he is very stubborn, he is also extremely intelligent. When his mother was pregnant she was dumped, and an elderly couple found her and took her in. Hunter was born 12-13-2024 (yes, Friday the 13th!). He is very playful and has energy for days, so he requires a lot of physical and mental stimulation. He is also a very high jumper and loves a challenge. He was raised with other dogs and cats and gets along well with them, as long as he is introduced properly and given time to get warm up to them. He can be too rough with children, but that may be something that can be worked on. He would thrive as a working dog or in a home that will challenge him and make good use of his energy and intelligence.
