Story

TONGA UPDATE: Tonga has been in foster his whole life - literally from 3 weeks to now at 9.5mo old. Tonga is the best well rounded baby ever ! He is fun and a ray of sunshine. (He does like to climb to play king of the mountain). You should see this boy play with the miniature horses !! ITs FANTASTIC to see. We still see Spaniel and Miniature Aussie/Border collie of some sort in his looks and actions. He is always so happy and personable. Outdoors he loves to play catch me if you can-its his favorite game its truly just a game for him that is fun. He doesn't mind wearing bandanas or t-shirt's and dressing up. He takes it and goes with the flow. He is a happy traveling kid. Loves to load and go. He will miss his best friend (milkshake the mini horse) but he has the personality to want to and make many more ! Tonga has simply been overlooked because he doesn't have the desired coloring for his breed mixes , but i think he is absolutely beautiful ! Tonga is a small dog remaining still at 25 pounds. Tonga is ready to make his mark permanently in your home :) Meet Tonga ! Tonga has a long rescue journey .. so sad but he is safe now. Tonga's Mom is pictured as well She is a sweet soft 25lb Spaniel. Tonga at 6-7mo weighed 20lbs we expect him to be the same as Momma. Tonga has never met a stranger. He loves to run and play and wiggle and kiss. Tonga can turn the grumpiest of people into a smiling Teddy Bear. Tongas momma is Fiji. She had 4 babies all nursing when she was hit by a car. It caused her to have 3 broken legs/pelvis. Her sister was nursing 3 puppies as well and she was hit and killed at the same time. Poor Fiji took care of all babies the best she could literally crawling to survive and nurse her and her sisters children. She was living under a rental home and they simply could care less as they "werent their dogs". Finally decaying body smells caused them to reach out for help. As you can see Fiji is now up and running and playing (she is in heartworm treatment). and Tonga is her sole surviving puppy along with is half sister Kiri (will be posted soon). Tonga is a testament to rescue. With all he has endured.....love has seen him through. Meet Tonga !

MEET CHAMPAGNE aka CAMP ! Champ girl is sitting in foster for no reason other than possibly coloring. She is a WONDERFUL social bug. She is crate trained and goes in without question. She follows your hand motions and super trainable. She is a very lovely super involved in her humans. She has no aggression whatsoever with food, possessions, people, dogs etc. She is a turnkey girl ! Now approx 11 months. Poor sweet puppy is growing up in RESCUE. She needs Rescue from Rescue :( Champagne and siblings were dumped on a very busy rural hwy, they were lucky to not be hit before rescue. We collected 4 puppies from this dumping. Champagne has grown into a beautiful sweet young girl. She is docile (learning not to jump) and follows direction. She attended our School Event and was a hit! She was gentle and loving and softer. She encouraged gentleness and peace and interactive attention. Champagne is approx 40 lbs and we do not see her being over 55lbs (if that). Please apply to help save Champagne ! 1. UPDATE ON BOOGS ! He still remains as sweet as they come. He is a great outings guy. He is crate trained and trained for love ! He loves exploring and going on hikes and visiting anyone and everyone. This is one happy social guy that will draw attention from anyone with his gorgeous physic and coloring ! MEET BOOGALOO AKA BUGALOO AKA BUGS ! Boogaloo found himself in a rural shelter as a baby. UCare volunteer visited the shelter and pulled him and another dog (Ferris) to safety. Boogaloo is GORGEOUS and Proud ! He loves everyone and everything. He was the perfect guest in attendace at our School Event. He looks like pointer in markings but only half the size .. sizie and structure and PRANCES like a WHIPPET ! Meet FERRIS ! THE dog that should be wearing a little boys baseball cap ! That's how I picture him. He is always smiling and ready to play. He is extremely mindful of all human direction. His recall is great. Hi he has an amazing fun loving energy. As you can see he can play with MANY dogs at a time of all shapes sizes and sees. Ferris is a precious compact size. He appears to be a Bully breed mixed with a Beagle. He is a solid pup at the same time he is the most loving and cuddling ! He will climb in your chair and hit the snore button immediately! Oh did I tell you about his toy basket ?? He MUST have a toy basket. Everytime he goes outside he chooses a new toy to be his companion..many times I take them from him at the door and he is ok with it. He just gets excited and wants to choose a toy to go to the door. He learns routine almost immediately! Ferris came from certain euthanasia at a southern kill shelter. He was mild heartworm positive but he has gone thru full AHS treatment with no issues. Meet PollyAnna ! She showed up in rural Louisiana and gave birth to 10 puppies under a small cottage along the Red River. Threatened of drowning when a hurricane was coming, the plant nursery property owner reached out to rescue for help. We met and climbed under the house , used racks and towels to dig out all 10 babies. All pups survived and have been adopted into loving homes. Now it's PollyAnnas turn. PollyAnna is a mellow but playful girl approx 3yrs old. She loves all people and super well mannered. PollyAnna is crate trained, housetrained, and snuggles in the bed with her people. PollyAnna is now Spayed, she is Heartworm Negative, and utd on Annuals and preventative. As you can see she is great with other dogs as well. She also is accustomed to going to petco and choosing her own treats and toys! What a good girl! PollyAnna hops to be warming up in front of your fireplace by Christmas!
