Hello, hello! I'm Miss Maple... but you can also just call me May!
I'm about two years old, and even though I'm a little older than some of my rescue buddies, don't let that fool you—I still have lots of pep in my step and plenty of love to give!
Before coming into rescue, life was pretty different for me. I spent a lot of time having puppies and didn't really know what it was like to live inside a home. But let me tell you... I have been seriously missing out!
Did you know humans will cuddle you just because they want to? And that there's always a cozy bed waiting for you? And food shows up every single day?! I even get to zoom around, play, and then come back inside to nap in the air conditioning. Honestly... it's the dream.
My foster mom has been helping me learn that I'm safe now. Sometimes I get a little worried when she leaves because I love my people so much, but every day I'm getting a little braver and a little more confident. She says she's so proud of how far I've come, and I think I'm finally ready to find my forever family.
If I could make one little wish, it would be to have a home where I can soak up all the love and attention. I'd really enjoy being your one and only pup, but I've shown that I can be adaptable, so the right family might surprise us both!
