Story
Ahoy there, matey! I’m Pirate – a swashbuckling sweetheart with one mission: to steal your heart (and maybe your snacks). I’m a playful pup with a zest for life, but I do have a few quirks that make me more of a `hidden treasure` than a `party pirate.`Loud noises and sudden movements? They send me straight to Davy Jones` locker (okay, under the couch). Because of that, I need a calm, quiet crew – no tiny humans aboard, please! Cats? Let’s just say they walk the plank in my book.I love to play with my human crew – whether it`s a game of fetch or just running around like a goofball, count me in! When it comes to other dogs, I can be a bit of a scallywag though, so I’ll need to meet any canine shipmates first to make sure we can sail smoothly together. If you’re looking for a loyal first mate who’ll be your adventure buddy (and your shadow), then set a course to meet me. I might be a little nervous at first, but once I trust you, we’ll be a legendary duo. X marks the spot – and it’s right on your heart.

Story
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - Hey I`m Boots... with the fur. I am a 7 year old lab mix. So I`m basically 1 at heart. (Don`t forget labs are forever puppies) I can be timid with new environments, people, and handling. Once I feel comfortable with you though you`ll get the biggest bum wiggles and the fastest tail wags. It typically doesn`t take me long! I would be a wonderful candidate to teach manners to, or even basic tricks. I am quite smart, I already know sit and shake. I was brought into the shelter with another dog, so my friends here figured I would be good with most dogs and guess what! I am! I do well with dogs AND cats! I`m just happy to be involved. I can be quite jumpy though so proper introduction is strongly recommended so I am not too overwhelming. I can be jumpy with my human friends too. As long as the kiddos (if any) know I may knock them over by accident I`m sure I could go to a home with people of all ages! I am so excited to find my place in someone`s home and heart.

Come visit me at PAW!Adoption fee: $390This is Shilo! A beautiful sweetheart who came all the way from Manitoba just to meet you. This prairie pup turned Maritimer lived in a foster home during her time out west. She does well with dogs but cats are a big no thank you! She would like to have a fenced in yard where she can`t bolt for bunnies. Shilo is a husky through and through with her vocal awoos. Apartment life might not be suited for our chatty cathy. She is super social and will melt with gentle headpets and scratchies.Come to the shelter and let Shilo a-woo you today!

Story
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - Gunner is a 9-month-old whirlwind of joy, chaos, and unfiltered enthusiasm. If you`re looking for a calm, couch potato... keep scrolling. But if you`re into high-energy adventures and don`t mind a few (okay, many) surprise jumps to the face, Gunner might just be your new best friend. He’s strong on the leash (like, “might pull you into next week” strong), and he hasn’t quite grasped the concept of personal space—he prefers to be in your lap, your face, and your heart at all times. Training? Yeah, he needs it. But he’s young, eager, and ready to learn with the right person who can handle his big puppy energy. Gunner would thrive with an active, experienced owner who can help channel his excitement into good manners. If you’re ready to invest time, patience, and lots of treats, you’ll get a loyal, goofy, lovable sidekick in return. - Gunner would do well in a home with other dogs. He will require a home without any cats. He is very friendly with people of all ages but due to his size and jumpiness he would easily accidentally harm small children. For that reason we recommend Gunner goes to a home with older children, if any. He`s been known to chew on a thing or two so crate training will be important for this guy!

Story
Wiggles is a happy-go-lucky pup with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging. Known for his signature wiggle-butt greeting, he absolutely lives for butt scratches and the chance to make new friends—human or canine alike. Whether he`s out on a walk, at the park, or just hanging around the house, Wiggles brings sunshine and smiles wherever he goes. Life is just better with a little Wiggles in it! He prefers a home without any cat friends, but dogs may be a possibility. He is willing to do meet-and-greets to ensure BFF status is achievable. - Wiggles is a special boy that will be adopted out on a health contract due to him testing positive for heartworm while in our care. He is currently on a heartworm treatment plan, and PAW will cover the cost of the remaining heartworm treatment for him as per the health contract.

Story
Come visit me at PAW!Adoption fee: $390This is Cudder! I might not be able to rap, but I am an excitable good boy who loves to jump up for face kisses! This extremely smart boy knows how to sit, stay, down, shake, and come. He is clever and picks up cues quickly. Cudder is still working on his leash manners as he does love to tug his way towards interesting scents. He`s a young guy and the world is just so exciting (and smelly). He is very grabby with toys and intense with his playstyle. We recommend no small children due to his jumpy and grabby nature. He would do well in a home with a confident, relaxed dog. Due to his prey drive we are saying no to cats.
