American Staffordshire Terrier

Female, Puppy
Moncton, NB
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Spayed or Neutered,
Come visit me at PAW!Adoption Fee: $390Hello friends! My name is Harley, and at 8 months old I'm still a spry spring chick. A little about me, I enjoy attention - a lot of it! I'm a very active, high energy girl who loves to play! My playstyle is too rough for little ones, I'm still working on my manners, so I am looking for a home with no small children. If you're looking for a hiking partner that can keep up with you, I'm your girl! I need to have a decent amount of exercise to get my wiggles out so I can focus on being a good girl. I know a couple cues and I am learning to walk well on a leash without pulling. I still need a hand with other manners though, I am quite the jumper and I love to lick faces so much that I'll scurry up the front of you! I'm also still not housetrained unfortunately, but I'm willing to learn if you're willing to teach me! I hear one of these things the Hoomans calls a crate will help with this for when you need to leave me alone, otherwise you may find a not so nice surprise waiting for you when you get home... If you're looking for a wonderful young pup who's eager to learn new things, please stop by the shelter and see if I could be your new forever friend! Harley would do best in a cat free home.

Male, Adult
Moncton, NB
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Spayed or Neutered,
Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - This is Sammy. Sammy is a young, happy going Samoyed. He can be overwhelmingly excited when seeing his friends that his back legs make him do big jumps. He will need a family that is willing to put in training with him to help with basic obedience, toy possession and food possession. He would do well in a home with older kids as long as they respect his boundaries but prefers being the only pet in the home. Sammy will be a great addition to a home that is breed knowledgeable and lives an active lifestyle. He enjoys spending time outside going for walks, or throwing a ball around! He will require regular grooming due to his coat. He's got quite the bark, so apartment life isn't a good fit for this yappy guy. If you have breed and resource guarding knowledge, and willing to put in the appropriate training and patience to help Sammy be the best dog he can be, please come to the shelter to discuss Sammy with an adoption counsellor!

Cairn Terrier Cairn Terrier

Male, Senior
Shediac, NB
(when grown) Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
I adopted Cheeco in 2017, at the Moncton SPCA, he was 9 years old at the time. I am relocating to a seniors residence where pets are not permitted. Cheeco is 16 years old now but he is physically in good condition and he has been followed by a local vet since I've had him. Cheeco is a very quiet little guy, somewhat independent but not in a negative way. He spends all his time with me, mostly inside, when he wants to "do his business" he lets me know with a little 'yipe". Cheeco's teeth were removed at the SPCA.
