Story
Dakota is a beautiful, gentle, and loving dog looking for a wonderful new home. She is approximately 6 years old, weighs about 50 pounds, and is a spayed female Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix. Dakota loves being outdoors, exploring, and especially playing in the water. She has a sweet personality and would thrive with a family that can give her plenty of love, attention, and room to enjoy the outdoors.Finding a new home for Dakota is one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make. Unfortunately, I will soon be moving to a condominium in a nearby city, and the HOA does not allow large dogs. I also have two small dogs that will be moving with me.My greatest hope is to find Dakota a kind and caring family with a spacious backyard where she can run, play, and continue to enjoy the life she loves. She deserves a home filled with love, companionship, and the opportunity to be a cherished member of the family. Please help her find a good home.

Story
Teddy is a 9-month-old Australian Cattle Dog/Australian Shepherd mix. We have had him since he was 6 weeks old, but our family's schedule has become very busy with sports and extracurricular activities. We feel we aren't able to give Teddy the attention he deserves right now.Teddy is:• House-trained and living indoors• Friendly with family and invited guests• Microchipped• A fan of squeaky toys• Good with childrenHe is a great dog who is very friendly, though he will bark at strangers outside of the house. Because of our current schedule, he is being left alone longer than is ideal, which has led to some accidents recently. He will love any family who has the time to give him the attention he needs.💰 Rehoming fee: $20

Story
🐾 Meet Lucky 🐾 Boxer/Labrador Retriever Mix • 3 Years Old • Sponsored for Adoption Has been waiting since September 2022 for a forever home Hey there, I’m Lucky! If you’re searching for a fun, energetic, and adventurous best friend — I’m your guy! I’m a 3-year-old Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix with a big personality, a curious spirit, and a love for life. I came to the Laredo Animal Protective Society (LAPS) on September 30, 2022, as a surrender along with my mom and siblings. One by one, they all found loving homes — except for my brother Shadow and me. We’ve grown up here at the shelter, surrounded by kindness, but we’re still waiting for our turn to find forever families of our own. I’m full of energy and always ready for action! I love to run, chase my favorite ball, and show off my super high jumps — I can really get some air! Once I’ve burned off my energy, I’m all about love and cuddles. Belly rubs? Yes, please — I’ll never say no to those. I’m great with kids and other dogs, and I’d be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys staying active and being outdoors. Whether it’s a jog around the park, a game of fetch, or exploring new places, I’ll be right by your side, tail wagging the whole way. 💛 I’ve been waiting since September 2022 for you. Think you can keep up with me? Let’s find out — I’d love to be your new best friend!
