Story
Victoria is a seven years old GSD, very sweet and enjoys being with people, She is a beautiful black and tan GSD with an alert and attentive temperament. She is well-behaved, serene in outdoor settings, and would make a perfect companion for a family looking for a loyal, GSD. She likes being outside during the day and likes to go to sleep at nights inside in the kitchen. I found her some months ago abandoned in the neighborhood, I took her to the veterinarian, and now she is fully vaccinated and well taken care of. The issue is that my rental contract prohibits pets, and my landlord has issued a final notice and I can’t afford to move to a different place. Every local rescue we visited in my city is at full capacity and has denied her entry, and anyway, I cannot leave her there, as it would likely lead to her being euthanized due to lack of space. I am willing to personally drive her to meet your rescue or a committed foster.

Story
🐾 Meet Lucky 🐾 Boxer/Labrador Retriever Mix • 3 Years Old • Sponsored for Adoption Has been waiting since September 2022 for a forever home Hey there, I’m Lucky! If you’re searching for a fun, energetic, and adventurous best friend — I’m your guy! I’m a 3-year-old Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix with a big personality, a curious spirit, and a love for life. I came to the Laredo Animal Protective Society (LAPS) on September 30, 2022, as a surrender along with my mom and siblings. One by one, they all found loving homes — except for my brother Shadow and me. We’ve grown up here at the shelter, surrounded by kindness, but we’re still waiting for our turn to find forever families of our own. I’m full of energy and always ready for action! I love to run, chase my favorite ball, and show off my super high jumps — I can really get some air! Once I’ve burned off my energy, I’m all about love and cuddles. Belly rubs? Yes, please — I’ll never say no to those. I’m great with kids and other dogs, and I’d be the perfect companion for someone who enjoys staying active and being outdoors. Whether it’s a jog around the park, a game of fetch, or exploring new places, I’ll be right by your side, tail wagging the whole way. 💛 I’ve been waiting since September 2022 for you. Think you can keep up with me? Let’s find out — I’d love to be your new best friend!

Story
Hey there, I’m Shadow! 🐾 I’m a 3-year-old Boxer/Labrador Retriever mix with tons of energy, and I’m always ready for my next adventure! I’d love a home with plenty of space to run, jump (which happens to be my favorite thing to do!), and play. But don’t worry—I can also enjoy a quiet and peaceful environment when it’s time to wind down. I get along great with other dogs, and I’m already good on a leash and harness, so I’m always up for a nice walk or outdoor adventure. Whether we’re out exploring or just hanging out, I’ll be right by your side, ready to bring excitement and love into your life. Think we’d make a great team? I can’t wait to meet you! ❤️🐾

Story
Hi, I’m Leila! 🐾 I’m a 3-year-old Terrier mix, and I’m a total sweetheart bursting with energy and love! When I get excited, I might get a little jumpy—what can I say? I just love showing my happiness! But don’t worry, I also have a calm side. I might be a little shy at first, but once I get comfortable, my loving personality shines through. I get along great with other dogs and love to be social. I tend to feel more at ease around women, but I can warm up to men too with a little time and patience. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate, and social pup who just needs a little time to open up, I could be the perfect fit for you! 💕🐶

Story
Meet Gaston! Gaston is a 3-month-old Chihuahua puppy with a big personality packed into a tiny body. He is super friendly, playful, and always ready for fun! Gaston loves playtime with his siblings and does great with other dogs—especially when he gets to enjoy time outside his kennel. Toys are one of his favorite things, and you’ll often find him happily entertaining himself or inviting others to join the fun. Gaston’s story is extra special—he was born right here at the shelter after his mama, Uma, was rescued from the city shelter. Now this sweet boy is ready for the next chapter of his life in a loving forever home. If you’re looking for a happy, social, and playful puppy to add joy to your family, Gaston might just be the perfect match! 🐶✨
