Story
Bindi came to me as a survivor of neglect back in 2021. I suspect she was a breeder at some point. She has history: worn down teeth, a jiggly, soft belly, and cage trauma which makes it so she cannot tolerate very small, confined spaces. However, she has a heart of pure gold, and devotes herself for life, in true cattle dog fashion. The vet put her at around 8 years of age. Binds has suffered so much loss, so I would love to try and navigate this tenderly and find her forever home where she can live out her last few years. She adores cuddles, does not bark much, and is house trained. She loves walks, and will entertain herself with a tennis ball for ages. She prefers to be more outside than inside (and she loves a dust bath). She's gentle with kids and will lick them to pieces. In excitement, she will nip heels, which is typical of the breed. She doesn't like cats and will bark if she sees them (and chase). Up to date on shots and spayed.

Story
I rescued Ruger from being put down just short of a year ago. He is a loving dog and he is good with people. ( has not been around kids) He is very active and very playful. He loves to play fetch. He is not very friendly with small dogs, but will get along with bigger dogs. A couple months ago my shared fence between me and my neighbors property broke and Ruger got into a fight with my neighbor’s dog. (which is a much smaller dog) The neighbor’s dog had some minor wounds, animal control was called, and a bite report was completed. Since then, my neighbor has not been friendly about the situation, even after I payed for his dog’s vet bill. Due to my neighbor not willing to work with me on fixing the fence, unfortunately, there is no other option left but to find him a new home.

Story
Kodak is a six year old Black Mouth Cur. We struck it rich finding this breed—known as the secret of the dog world because they’re such an overlooked treasure. Kodak loves cuddles and to be babied. He wears his heart on his sleeve and feels things deeply. He gets very excited and he smiles all the time. He’s extremely intelligent and clever, and picks up on tricks and skills quickly. He knows how to play fetch (and brings it back), tug of war, knows commands such as sit and wait, and he’s working on stay. He’s extremely active and loves to run around and play. He’s good with other dogs, hates cats, and great with older kids (he gets too excited and knocks little ones down by mistake in his joy!). He’s our sweet boy, and I want to see him go to a good home that’ll love him and invest in him. Up to date on shots, neutered, and microchipped.
