Story
Looking to rehome Rocky Joe. Hs is a sweet, healthy 9 year old male dog up-to-date on his shots and neutered. Fully house trained and has never had an accident inside. He is an anxious dog and can be destructive if is alone without a safe/confined spot. He does great in a kennel with chew toys. He really wants to please his humans and could be trained out of bad habits like pulling on the leash, licking, and getting overexcited when he sees people he knows. **He is protective/aggressive about his food with other dogs (not humans), which is the main reason for rehoming him as we have a geriatric pup which this has been a repeated problem.** He would be happiest and safest in a home without young children. He does great with other pets except around the food/toys. Someone who needs a best friend to spend lots of time loving on him and training him would be ideal. We just don’t have the time to dedicate to training him right now.

Story
I took this pup in when he was just about 4 weeks old—tiny and fragile, I didn’t even realize he was a Chocolate Lab! Fast forward 18 months, and he’s grown into a big, beautiful boy (think small horse size!). As much as I love him, our space just isn’t enough anymore—especially with four older smaller dogs who aren’t quite up for his playful energy. He deserves more room to run, play, and thrive. Ideally, he’d go to a home with a big yard or even some land, where he can stretch his legs and enjoy the outdoors. He loves kids—from babies to teens—and is gentle, loving, and goofy with them. He’s also great with other dogs, never food or dog aggressive, and is a total sweetheart. He enjoys chew toys, is kennel-trained (though it’s not his favorite place), and just wants to be around people. This boy has so much love to give—I just want to see him live his best life. If you think you can offer him the space and love he deserves, I’d love to chat and make sure it’s the right fit. 🐶💕

Story
Can play with dogs, isn’t mean to children but gets too excited and jumps and licks. Play bites a lot but not hard enough to leave a mark. Needs to be trained but a super sweet dog with lots of energy. Would fit great with other dogs and loves to play. He is a little bit over a year old, we got him from the pound. We do have some blue buffalo dog food to come with Bandit. I do love the dog a lot but I don’t have the time to really train him and be consistent so he is pretty stubborn. He knows to sit, shake, and lay down, but usually only does it when he knows there’s a treat waiting. I’m sure he can learn with treats and with people who know how to work with dogs.Unfortunately I am busy getting ready to leave for college and parents don’t want him.

Story
She is potty trained and we she is also kennel trained. She deserves a home with a peaceful environment and unfortunately that is not with us. Although she is good with dogs she does not understand the social cues of other dogs and can sometimes be annoying to them. She does get scared of men but if they’re in her vicinity for a while she will get used to them. She loves pets and loves to run outside.

Story
Sally is a sweet girl who is searching for her forever home. She is a sweet, dorky but smart girl that loves attention. She is about 18 months old, female shepherd mix breed. She is about 65 pounds. She came into the system after someone noticed she was tied to a dog house with no other source of shade. She is a sweet, medium energy girl that gets along with everyone! She loves playing, but her fosters are a retired couple with more dogs than energy. She loves kids, cats and dogs. She is crate trained. She does well with change and adapts very quickly. She loves treats and toys (Sometimes to pieces.). She loves water. She has so much potential to be an amazing companion with some one on one attention. She has watched other puppies come and go and still she is here with us. To apply fill out our online Adoption application at https://form.jotform.com/80635351784158
