Story
Hey there, future best friend! My name’s Lucy, and I'm a 5-year-old female Dogo Argentino currently chilling in sunny Arizona. But guess what? I'm totally ready to pack my bags and hit the road to find my forever home!
I'm not just any Dogo, oh no. I'm the sweetest, most lovable girl you’ll ever meet. Seriously. I’m a professional cuddler and expert kisser. I’ll wiggle my entire body with excitement just to greet you, and then proceed to cover you with kisses and snuggle like there's no tomorrow. I’ve got a big heart, but it's reserved for humans only—especially the ones in my family. Other dogs? Not so much, especially those other Dogos. I need to be the only dog in the house, thank you very much.
Ladies, you’ve got my instant trust. Gentlemen, you might need to bribe me with a treat or two, but once I warm up to you, watch out! I might just steal your heart and your snacks!
I love adventures—walks, hikes, you name it, I’m your girl. But don't get me wrong, I also excel at being a homebody. I’m a fantastic work-from-home office buddy and a pro at couch surfing, perfect for Netflix marathons. I just want to be by your side, soaking up all the love and attention I can get.
My past wasn’t the greatest. I was kept in a kennel with two other female Dogos who weren’t exactly friendly. This made me a bit wary around other dogs. I was adopted and had a male Dogo buddy, but we had a couple of disagreements, so I’m back on the market. It’s okay though—I'm meant to be the queen of my castle, your one and only furry BFF.
So, if you’re looking for a sweet, adventurous, snuggle-loving Dogo who just wants to be your sidekick, I’m your girl! Fill out that adoption application or reach out to the rescue with any questions. They’ll even help with transport if you’re the right fit for me.
I can’t wait to be the sunshine of your life and the center of your world! Let’s make it happen!
