Story
Meet Freyr, the gentle giant with a heart of gold! This Dogo Argentino mix, just over a year old and tipping the scales at over 75 lbs, was rescued from the county euthanasia list and is now flourishing in his foster home. Freyr may seem shy and reserved at first, but once he warms up, he reveals his goofy and playful side. He's a master of hide-and-seek, loves snuggling up with a blanket, and even tucks himself in for a cozy nap. Sunbathing is one of his favorite pastimes, and he enjoys soaking up the rays whenever he can. While he's extremely sweet, Freyr will need a patient adopter who can give him the time and space he needs to come out of his shell fully. He initially arrived at the shelter with a furry friend, so he may benefit from having another dog in the home for companionship. Freyr's ideal family would have someone home more often than not, as he still struggles with separation anxiety due to his past. Rest assured, he'll be neutered and up to date on all vaccinations before finding his forever home.
