Story
Sebastian is a seven-year-old, Boxer mix that is sweet and soulful, more senior dog looking for a home where he can enjoy the good life. This boy found himself on the county’s euthanasia list due to having issues with his rear limb, which is due to Valley Fever and the bony lesions it caused. Thankfully, Valley Fever is a totally treatable, non-contagious disease that is very manageable. Once we started treating Sebastian for his Valley Fever, he became a totally different dog—his mobility and comfort have both increased tremendously. Sebastian’s ideal home would be calmer and quieter, as he doesn’t need too much activity—walks are still great for maintaining muscle and movement!—and just enjoys being near his people, both children and adults. This sweet boy is dog selective, so any doggy siblings would need proper introductions to ensure a successful match. Sebastian’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. Apply here: https://lovethemallrescue.org/adopt

Story
At just 2 years old, Saint has already lived through more than most dogs ever should — yet her spirit remains bright, loving, and full of life. This sweet girl was found abandoned in the pouring rain on deaths door in desperate need of medical attention-- yes, it felt like we were living in a Sarah McLauchlin infomercial. Thankfully, Sky Sanctuary was able to step in for Saint and get her to Veterinary Emergency Group where she spent weeks recovering. Her spirit is strong and she continues to amaze us by her resilience in her battle with Valley Fever. Saint is one of the most remarkable dogs we've met. She’ll need a family who’s gentle and mindful of her medical needs. The good news is: she’s improving every day to the point that she was able to attend board and train with our training partner at Sofu’s Dog Training, where she’s thriving and learning so much. Despite everything she’s endured, Saint is a bundle of joy — playful, affectionate, eager to love + learn. She’s truly a light in every room she enters. Saint will need an adopter who is committed to staying on top of her Valley Fever treatment and understands the importance of monitoring her condition. Sky Sanctuary will continue to cover the costs of Saint's valley fever checkups + treatment for a year after adoption. It’s very manageable with regular care, and she’s absolutely worth the extra attention. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a dog who will love you with everything she has, please submit an adoption application at skysanctuaryrescue.org/applications. Once we receive your application, we’ll happily answer your questions and arrange a meet and greet with our lovable girl, Saint.

Looking for a loyal companion who brings the perfect blend of playfulness and gentle affection? Meet Coop, a 3-year-old boxer/pit mix with a heart as big as his smile! Coop is the definition of a family dog, absolutely amazing with children of all ages. His gentle nature, sweet disposition, and affectionate personality make him the perfect playmate and protector for your little ones. This handsome boy comes with some impressive life skills! He's fully potty-trained, knows how to use a dog door, handles car rides well and has learned basic obedience commands. Even better, he's comfortable being left alone when you need to run errands. With moderate energy levels, Coop strikes the perfect balance between playful companion and relaxed housemate. His favorite activity? A good game of fetch in the sunshine! He loves outdoor adventures but is equally content simply being part of your daily routine. While Coop may be a bit shy when first meeting new people or exploring unfamiliar places, his reserved nature quickly melts away once he feels secure by your side. His loyalty knows no bounds!
