Story
Taco is a HUGE, young goofball who truly believes he’s still a puppy. He’s incredibly sweet, full of love, and always ready to play, cuddle, or follow you around like your oversized shadow. With his size and puppy energy, Taco can be a bit too much for small children—but he’d be a fantastic match for a home with older kids who can keep up with his enthusiasm. If you’re looking for a big-hearted, giant puppy to grow up with your family, Taco is your guy. What I Need In a Home:* Older children recommended

Story
Meet Miss Eloise – The Sweetest Momma Dog Eloise is a true survivor and an inspiration to everyone who meets her. Her journey has been incredibly challenging, but through it all, she has remained gentle, loving, and full of heart. We tried to rescue Eloise directly from the LA shelter as she was scheduled to be euthanized, but she was adopted before we could get to her. Sadly, but with good intentions, the adopter brought home both Eloise and another dominant female Cane Corso. Without any gradual introduction or separation, a serious fight occurred between the two girls shortly after. Eloise, already exhausted and weakened from her past, received the worst of it and was unable to fully protect herself. Thankfully, we saw a post from the adopter asking for help, and within hours, one of our dedicated volunteers had her safely in our care. Eloise’s challenges didn’t end there. She had been bred nearly to the point of exhaustion, and after just one day with her foster mom, it was clear she was very sick. At the ER, we discovered she had injuries from the fight, pneumonia, pyometra, bilateral ACL tears, and a belly full of puppies. Her resilience is truly astonishing. Even after returning home from her first ER visit, she experienced setbacks and required multiple nights of IV fluids and medications. Through it all, Eloise has been nothing short of a champion, calm, sweet, and loving. Today, she’s thriving in her foster home. She has some pep in her step and a much happier dog. About Eloise • Personality: Gentle, affectionate, resilient, and loving • Health: Recovering from serious injuries and illnesses; thriving in foster care • Dog Compatibility: Not fully evaluated with other dogs due to her recovery. A quiet home with no other pets is ideal for now, though she may be compatible with a friendly male dog in the future after reassessment • Ideal Home: A calm, loving environment where she can feel safe, relax, and enjoy the affection she deserves Eloise has endured so much loss, neglect, and hardship. Now, she’s ready for a home forever where she can finally feel safe, loved, and cherished. Could your home be the perfect place for Miss Eloise to thrive? I may be a little shy at first, and take a minute to warm up, but then I'm giving kisses and running around playing and hiding. I play so nice with big dogs, little dogs, kitty and kiddos. I’m a playful little puppy with a big heart and even bigger curiosity. I love cuddles, exploring the world, and learning new things every day. I’m still working on my puppy manners, but I promise I’ll make it worth it with kisses, tail wags, and endless love. I’m looking for a forever family who will grow with me 💕

I’m the most playful of the bunch! Fearless... chased after my big foster brothers to play, just like I do with my litter mates!! But I have no problem giving run by kisses to humans! I am nice to kitty and kiddos too! I love cuddles, exploring the world, and learning new things every day. I’m still working on my puppy manners, but I promise I’ll make it worth it with kisses, tail wags, and endless love. I’m looking for a forever family who will grow with me 💕

I love snuggles and am too smart for my own good! I may be one of the littlest, but I have kept my foster parents on their toes... I like to figure out how to escape my play area (though never really wanna go anywhere), just encourage my litter mates to join me in the freedom! I give sooo many kisses and am always so happy to get to wrestle around with my little sister Isabella (she is the one in my headshot with me!) and to hand with the resident big dogs and kitty.

Story
LION – Male Boxer | 2 Years Old - DOB 11/25/2023 |    50 lbs | Healthy, Vaccinated & Neutered Introducing Lion, the sweetest big-hearted Boxer boy you’ll ever meet! At 2 years old, Lion has that perfect blend of Boxer goofiness and soulful loyalty. He’s playful, affectionate, expressive, and absolutely loves being near his humans. Lion is the type of dog who wiggles when he’s happy, leans in for cuddles, and charms everyone he meets with his warm, gentle nature. Breed Info: Boxers are known for their intelligence, athleticism, and famously silly personalities. They are deeply loyal, people-oriented, and incredibly loving companions. Boxers thrive on interaction, bonding, and being included in family life. Lion reflects the best of his breed — goofy, devoted, and full of heart. Owner Responsibilities: To help Lion thrive, he’ll need: Daily exercise (walks, play, and engagement) Structure, training, and positive reinforcement Plenty of affection and time with his family A safe, stable home where he won’t be left alone too long Give him routine, purpose, and love — and Lion will give you devotion for life. Things to Consider Before Adopting Lion: Are you ready for a medium-energy, highly social dog? Do you have the time and stability for daily exercise and bonding? Is your home and landlord dog-friendly? Are you prepared to commit to a dog for the next 10+ years? Are you ready for a dog who wants to be included as part of the family, always? Dogs are forever — not until convenient. Vet Care: Lion is healthy, vaccinated, and neutered. Please take him to your own vet shortly after adoption to set up ongoing care and ensure his continued well-being. The 3-3-3 Rule & Lifelong Commitment: First 3 days: He decompresses and starts to feel safe. First 3 weeks: Lion learns your routine, expectations, and begins trusting fully. First 3 months: He bonds deeply, understanding he is truly home at last. Adoption is forever — and Lion is ready to give his heart unconditionally. Why Lion Would Be a Great Addition: Lion is a loyal, affectionate, and joy-filled companion who will bring warmth and love into any home. His expressive Boxer charm, playful energy, and gentle nature make him the kind of dog who forms bonds that last a lifetime. He’ll make you laugh, comfort you on hard days, and love you with everything he has. He’s not just a dog — he’s family. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her?
