******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************ We are a volunteer run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog. Teeka, a 1 year 7 month old spayed female, Boxer mix, 42lbs. She is in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up! The amazing Teeka is on the hunt for her forever home. She specializes in best friending with an emphasis on playing! She currently lives with several larger dogs and is learning to respect their boundaries. She LOVES to play with them, but does need some help realizing when her foster siblings are ready to stop. She has not met any cats, so we’re not sure how she’d react to a feline sibling. Her foster mom says she’s done well meeting new human friends and is learning not to jump on them. Because of this and her high energy levels, we do recommend a home with older dog savvy kids. This smartie is house and crate trained! She sleeps quietly in her crate and is kenneled whenever her foster family is out of the house. We don’t recommend leaving her out unsupervised as she may help herself to whatever she finds in the kitchen. Teeka’s love for food is next level and she will try to sneak a bite from you or the other dog’s bowls, but has shown no signs of resource guarding. She is still working on her leash manners, but is getting better every day! She gets a little too excited when she sees other dogs, but is learning to calm down and continue on her walk. This happy girl absolutely loves toys! She knows where the toy basket is and will get one so you can join in the fun. She’s a huge fan of fetch and tug of war! Teeka is learning the joys of relaxing too. She loves to lay on your legs and get some pets and give some kisses. She’s happy just to be near her humans. Teeka is a young pup with boundless energy that will thrive in a home with a yard, daily exercise, training and patience. She’s a goofy, happy, loving girl and with just one look into those pretty doe eyes, your heart will melt! ***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess & recommendations from our veterinarian on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. *** Interested in applying to adopt her? Story
I acquired Indie after her owner suddenly passed away. Indie is a very smart, and loyal pup. She will sit or lay right next to you wherever you are like your personal sidekick. Indie has a more calmer nature, but gets excited too. She’s a little anxious, she’s afraid of thunder and fireworks, and needs something to hold in her mouth (right now she has a bunny) when she’s excited. But she is so loyal and sweet. Loves belly scratches, she’ll actually give you her paw a million times, she wants you to scratch her belly. And finally, she absolutely loves to cuddle. She is not fixed.

Story
Wilbur is just a mellow dude looking for a loving home where he can be the center of your world. This boy is extremely cuddly, and has a personality that will keep you laughing. His previous guardian reported that he would sometimes fake a limp to get more treats or attention - what an adorable scoundrel! Wilbur is no dummy, and he knows what his preferences are which includes no other dogs. It`s not that he strongly dislikes them, but he would just prefer to hog all your attention and ignore their existence. Wilbur has limited experience with kids, but he doesn`t like to share his toys or bones, a child-free home is a must for this diva. We promise you`ll be so happy when you take Wilbur home, he`ll settle right in, go for long walks, then settle down to cuddle and do whatever you`d like for the evening! Our team describes Wilbur as: enthusiastic, goofy, and extroverted!

Story
He`s cute and he`s friendly - a house hippo, some say,With wiggles and zoomies and games he can play. He`ll bounce and he`ll bop and he`ll run to and fro,For this one-year-old pup has places to go!He likes doggy friends, and he`s lived with one too,They played and they romped, what an adorable crew!A canine companion could be a big win,Though proper introductions are where it should begin. He`s clever and curious, active and spry,With energy that reaches way up to the sky!A hike? A long walk? A game in the yard? For this Dr. Seuss, those things are not hard. Now here`s something important we`d like you to know:A home with older kids is the best way to go.Or perhaps one with just grown-ups and no little one,For they might be overwhelmed by his exuberant fun.So if you`re seeking adventure and laughter galore,A friend who`ll keep life from ever being a bore,Come meet Dr. Seuss and you`ll surely agree,This wonderful pup is as fun as can be!
