Gauge is a 4 years old Dogo Argentino around 120 lbs. Gauge is a big clown! He loves to play with other dogs! He does have allergies and will need allergy medication for the rest of his life. Otherwise, Gauge is a healthy boy and is ready for his forever home! Gauge would do best in an active home with another dog to play with. He is good with kids, too! Story
Qiana is a beautiful 3-year old Dogo Argentino from California. This 77-pound lady is great with other dogs, leaves cats alone, and friendly with everyone she meets (men and women). Qiana has a gentle temperament and is equally happy playing ball or just being an affectionate lap dog. She may exhibit food aggression at first (and sometimes toy guarding tendencies)—both things that can easily be addressed with some training—which is why we recommend her for a family with no kids, who can let her enjoy a toy and meal without her needing to worry about it being taken away. She will need an experienced dog adopter. Before her foster home, she quickly became a favorite amongst our volunteers and other dogs. (Indeed, as a former mama, Qiana helps us work with other young dogs at Big Bones who need some friendly canine guidance with their social graces). She would make a wonderful therapy dog, as she has good energy and enthusiasm, but also the ability to focus and stay under control. Qiana has SO much love to give and would make an amazing companion. Come meet Qiana in Fort Collins today! Highlights: She does NOT counter surf, is NOT destructive or a big chewer, is a HUGE cuddler (for training, she is more motivated by pets than any food), is trusted to free-roam the house, great on leash, great with dogs, cats, good with all adults.

Story
Available to the right adopter, who either has experience with scared dogs, or is willing to continue with her training. Ellie is a precious boxer that is currently being fostered with one of our dog trainers that specializes in timid, shy and scared dogs. She is guessed to be under 1 year old. She is absolutely adorable and her eyes will melt your heart but she is still pretty shy. Her foster mom thinks she would do better in a quiet home with adults or older children to work with her. Another confident dog could be helpful, but not necessary. Her foster mom has an amazing rehabilitation protocol to help these scared dogs and is working with her on potty training, socializing with dogs and humans, leash training, kennel training, doggie door training and if time permits, even car training. She also has an amazing group of volunteers that meet twice a week to help socialize all the scared foster dogs in her care. There are lots of other dogs at her foster moms house so we know she is dog friendly. Her foster doesn't have any cats but thinks she would be fine with them if introduced slowly and properly. She will need an adopter, who will give her love and patience. Please consider this adorable girl as a part of your family. She deserves all the kindness and will give you a lifetime of affection. The shy dogs become the most loyal dogs, who adore their humans. Her foster mom is located in Fort Collins Colorado and wants to find a patient adopter, who is willing to help her continue gaining confidence either with in person, or virtual training session(s) This training is NOT basic obedience, but instead, is designed for rescue dogs and teaches the adopter how to work to build the dogs confidence and overcome any trauma the dog may have experienced. This training will help the family and this sweet girl adjust to their new life together quicker. She will provide a discount on training. The amount of training needed (it generally takes 1-2 sessions) will depend on the knowledge and experience of the adopter and how far along the dog is in the rehabilitation training at the time of adoption.
