PERSONALITY A more perfect pintsize pup, one would be hard pressed to find. T-Bell is a petite girl but don't let her size fool you, her love of life and all things dog is XL. T-Bell is as sweet as she is small. One of T-Bell's most impressive talents is her ability to jump...super high. While this is great for catching balls and playing with other dogs it does mean her new home will need to have a tall and secure fence. Despite having a rough start to life she greets each new person and situation the same way she greets every new day, with curiosity and exuberance. One could not ask for a better partner in crime as T-Bell is a total social butterfly. She also enjoys cuddles, sunbathing, toys and other dogs. Overall T-Bell is a truly wonderful, happy girl who is ready to share her big heart and even bigger personality with a furever family. GROOMING NEEDS T-Bell has short fur and needs only basic grooming. Monthly baths, bi-weekly nail trims and brushings are all T-Bell needs to be her most handsome. That said, she is always up for a little extra grooming TLC. Did we mention that adorable underbite?! *Please note, we have witnessed some resource guarding around food with other dogs from T-Bell. ADOPTION FEE: $425 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Meet Pita! He is a 2 year old Boxer mix and weighs 35lbs. *Pita is the most lovable pup who's easily grown into a staff and volunteer favorite with his big smile and full body wiggles! *Pita has excellent leash manners and is super smart. He is on an additional training plan to help keep him sharp and boy does he impress us! Pita has solid basic obedience skills and easily picks up on new commands in the first session. *He would greatly benefit from joining a household that is willing to provide him with plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment. Due to some handling sensitivities mentioned in his previous home, he will need to go home with adults only. *After the perfect meet and greet, Pita would absolutely love to have another very tolerant dog with a rough and rowdy playstyle to keep him company and tucker him out so he's ready for cuddles and snoozin when its bedtime.April 29, 2024, 4:42 pm

Hi I'm Selena! I am a sweet girl who is good with other dogs and house trained! I love people and can't wait for you to play with me, take me on walks, maybe even go hiking with me! I would make a great buddy for all the shenanigans you want to do. I do have some prey drive so a home without cats or really small dogs will be best for me but who needs cats when you can have a goofy, silly girl??

Story
Hi There! My name is Maggie and I am a two year old Boxer mix with the most wiggly butt and nub tail you could possibly imagine. I love my adult and teenage foster humans, but will need a home with kids ages 15+. Little kids are just so cute, but man they make me super nervous so my next home needs to be kiddo free–including visiting grandchildren. In my spare time, I am an avid TV watcher. My favorite shows are the NatGeo documentaries, Disney movies with animals, Netflix documentaries that feature older people, and the Amazing Race. I was captivated for almost an hour on Thanksgiving watching the National Dog show. I was really rooting for the boxer to win! My perfect home is one with with a strong routine as that is when I thrive! My day is like clockwork and that makes me super happy. I always know what to expect! I quietly lie on my dog bed with the four resident dogs in my foster humans’ home office during the day. I also love chewing on my Benebone. I get up to use my dog door, then go lie back down. Sometimes I play with my foster brother, then we snuggle together. The older lady dogs in the house don’t really want to play, so I 100% respect them and always leave them alone. When the work day is over, I have my dinner and then later that evening it is time to hang out on the couch and guess what…watch TV! I am crate trained and housebroken. I also attended a three week board and train with Colorado K9 in Castle Rock where I learned lots of commands and a strong recall skill! I also attended doggie day care there and found my favorite dogs to play with. I love my foster humans and give them love, but I am not needy at all. New people can frighten me some, so I will need a home who is ok with me taking time to get comfortable around new people. My foster mom can tell you exactly how to do that! I will also need a home with a playful dog companion. I really love one of my foster brothers and look to him for guidance in new situations and new people. And we play all the time!! I’d love a new dog sibling like this. My home will need to be small animal free as I have a high prey drive (cats, squirrels, fox, etc.). Speaking of that drive, my new home will need a six foot fence or shorter fence paired with an invisible fence cause I got hops! I cleared a four foot fence easily in hot pursuit of a squirrel and climbed out of a five foot one to chase deer. But if my new home doesn’t have a yard and we just go on walks and such, that is totally ok too! I walk beautifully on with my harness and love that time with my peeps exploring the neighborhood! Do you hike? I do and would love a family that goes on adventures like that! I know I have some quirks, but I am a very good girl and low maintenance dog that would love to finally find my forever home. Maggie is in foster in Castle Rock, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/maggie/.
