She is fun, active and independently curious. She will be right by your side in whatever you’re doing but also love cuddling on your lap. She is the happiest with her people. She’s very playful and loves to fetch the ball or go for walks. She’s the brave leader and first to check out whatever you’re up to. She is friendly with older kids/teens but needs a home as a solo dog. I'm looking for a loving family who is willing to give her the time and attention she deserves. She is use to being kenneled during the workday and spend time with her humans after work. She would do best in a home that has a fenced yard to run around in and who can give her the attention she craves. She would do best in a home without small kids or other pets.

This is Nala (fka Sheba)! This pocket sized ball of sweetness is guessed to be a 3.5yr k. old Pit Mix (though she looks more like a Shiba Inu and Chihuahua got together). She came back to Big Bones recently after 2.5 yrs for no fault of her own when her adopter's living situation changed and they could no longer keep her. We were more than happy to welcome her back into our foster home! From the second I picked her back up, she wanted to cuddle her head in my lap. She has settled back in quickly with our resident dogs (the two grey pitties in the videos) and is just the right amount of playful. She LOVES to play fetch! She also is a great running and hiking companion, and is house trained and crate trained. She is full grown at 35 lbs, so the perfect size whether you live in an apartment or home with a yard. Please apply to meet this sweet muffin! She is being fostered in Aurora, but happy to meet in the middle for someone up North or out West.

Dolly’s favorite things are tug-of-war and chasing after soccer balls—she’s always ready for a game. She’s sweet natured, fun, dog friendly, and still working on her leash manners. Dolly does need a cat-free home. Dolly is also heartworm positive, so for now, she’ll need a quieter home where she can safely complete her treatment and recovery. Big Bones will cover the cost of her heartworm treatment through our partner vet. Once she’s through treatment she will need leashed walks/limited exercise for the next 30 days and would love an active home to keep her happy once she's in the clear to run and play! If you’re looking for a wonderful companion and can give Dolly a little patience while she gets healthy, she’ll reward you with plenty of love and playful Pittie personality. She’s waiting in Windsor for her forever home and can’t wait to meet you! 🐶⚽💕
