Rocket was abandoned at a motel when his owner was evicted. Some nice people fed him for the 5 months he was outside. We are so happy he is safe and indoors with us. Besides needing a spa day, Rocket is very sweet and gentle. Rocket is now neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for his forever home.

Story
*** For Information about Adopting or Meeting our Cats, 1) Click Here to Submit an Application 2) Be Approved 3) Make an Appointment *** Bob the Builder has had a tough road. Bob was originally found on the streets and later taken in by an elderly woman. we are sure she meant well but Bob was fed a low quality dry food diet and was very matted. Bob has had a visit from the groomer and must be feeling much better. Bob has been shy in shelter but enjoys pets and attention. Bob would do best in a home that will give him time to adjust, a healthy diet and daily brush time. Bob is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and ready for adoption to a kind and patient home.

Story
I adopted Noodle in April 2022. She is about 3 years old. She has had yearly vet visits since her adoption and has had no health issues. Her teeth were reported to be in good condition with a little tartar. I love Noodle so much. She is a permanent lap cat and cuddle buddy. Her name is Noodle because she is a noodle in your arms. I wouldn't let her go if I didn't need to. A year ago I moved and my older cat Bunny and her began to get into fights. The fighting started because of the new environment and because I switched from WFH to 100% in office and they missed my attention and playtime. I have tried to repair their relationship unsuccessfully. She needs a lot of love, affection, & interactive play to get out her energy. She loves walks outside in her harness. Noodle and my other cat got along fantastically for 2 years but my recent move and job change has caused them to become jealous and angry with each other after multiple fights. She may be alright with a different cat.

Story
Goldie's adopter is moving and chose not to take her along. As sad as that is, we are glad she was returned to us where we can find a permanent home for this lovely girl.  Goldie is accustomed to a quiet home and person. She was often seen on the head of her person's chair murring and purring for attention. She is quite timid and would do very well with a person dedicated to her and willing to offer her lots of love and attention. We prefer Goldie be adopted into a home with no other animals because of her timid nature. We estimate her birthday to be July 28, 2015. Goldie had been adopted in 2015 and returned in August 2023.  Our required adoption donation is $150 per kitten or $125 per cat (older than 9 months). All our rescues are up to date on shots, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV/Heartworm. They are dewormed, treated for parasites and free of fleas. Each is spayed or neutered and given a rabies vaccination.  An application must be completed to be considered to adopt from Stray HELP. You can download it from HERE OR directly ONLINE If your application is approved we conduct a home visit for final approval of adoption.
