Meet Whisper, This sweet girl is a tiny fur ball full of energy. She is playful and curious but also enjoys cuddling. Her life took a positive turn when she was rescued from a colony of feral cats. She has learned to love the good life in her foster home where she knows she will be fed daily and she has overcome her fear of people and enjoys attention and love. She is a beautiful kitten with a color that is not commonly found to make her unique. She is currently lives in a kitty condo and would love to experience what it is like to have access to a full home. Fiorella is a beautiful brown/grey, long-haired tabby that joined the Chance at Life family with her sister Serena, at the end of March 2024 from a municipal shelter at the approximate age of 4-5 months young. There were deemed unadoptable due to their temperament and lack of staff to work with them and were going to be put back outside in Cresskill, as part of a TNR program. We felt they deserved a chance to be socialized in a foster home and hopefully find their furever families. We did have to separate Fiorella and Serena as Fiorella was feeding off her sister's negative and aggressive demeanor, making it hard to work with her. Once separated, Fiorella started to make progress. She still is a "work in progress" but has come a long way. She enjoys toys, treats and being brushed as well as scratches under the chin. Her foster mom can kiss her on the face (all this she accepts while still hissing, lol) Fiorella would do best in an adult-only home with someone who realizes she may never be a lap cat. She is fine with other cats and kittens. Approximate DOB 11/03/23. Up to date with vaccinations, spayed, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative. You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. If you live in a parent or guardian's home, they must complete the application. An application does not guarantee an adoption. Our cats and kittens are not adopted on a first come, first served basis, but whom we feel would be the best fit for our cats and kittens. Story

Annalyse is a beautiful, long-haired, orange and white tabby. She first made an appearance at the rescue presidents' home the first week of October. She was only there on the front steps for about 30 seconds and took off into the night. On October 10 she made an appearance at the back steps looking for food. She was skittish but clearly not feral. A trap was set to try to catch her before the upcoming storm. She was very allusive but finally caught around 9 PM on October 12 right in the middle of the storm. No one has stepped up to claim Annalyse. No lost flyers have been seen in town or on line. She was most likely a "dump". Someone just didn't want her anymore. We don't think she was outside long as she only had 1 tick and a few fleas. Her coat was still in good condition and she was clean. Thankfully she was not pregnant as she was not spayed. Annalyse has now been treated for fleas, vaccinated, tested, de-wormed and spayed. The vet thinks she is about 1 ½ years old. She is a sweet, quiet girl who prefers to sleep on a hard surface over a bed or blanket. We think she might have lived with another cat as she enjoys their company and will lower her head when they greet her so she can get a kiss or a head bonk. She can be picked up and put in your lap but does not stay long. Could take a little time as she is still adjusting to a big change. Approximate DOB 04/13/24. Up to date of vaccinations, spayed and FIV/FeLV negative. You must be at least 18 years of age to adopt. If you live in a parent or guardian's home, they must complete the application. Born 2014 Mona is a mature lady looking for a very special forever family. She is gentle but very shy. Mona is comfortable with other cats but it has taken her several months to come out of her shell and allow our KC volunteers to approach her and even longer to accept pets without running for cover. Mona can now often be found lounging in a window bed or spending time with the other cats in the room. She often seeks the comfort of another friendly furry friend and doesn't mind sharing a cozy bed. Mona is still wary of new people and requires a patient, gentle introduction to visitors. We believe she will thrive in a quiet home with consistent, loving care and a knowledgeable adopter. Mona would do best in a calm environment, without children or dogs. She would be a wonderful companion for another calm feline friend. Mona requires a home with an experienced cat owner.
