Story
Braille is a tiny ball of confidence with absolutely zero regard for the fact that he can’t see. He’s ridiculously sweet, wildly outgoing, and always ready to play. Everything is a toy. Literally everything. He will sprint full-speed into walls that have never once moved, even though he knows exactly where they are—and he does it with enthusiasm every single time. No fear. No hesitation. Braille loves people, loves attention, and loves being right in the middle of whatever is happening. He’s curious, cuddly, and endlessly entertaining, with a personality way bigger than his little body. Braille is living his best life exactly as he is—and he’s ready to bring that joy to a home of his own.

Story
Meet Onyx, a stunning two-year-old, 12 lb. longhaired black beauty with a big personality to match his fluffy coat. Rescued as a stray off the streets of Waterbury, Onyx has clearly decided that the good life—indoors, spoiled, and adored—is exactly where he belongs. Onyx strives to be the center of attention. He wants all the love, all the time, and if you dare stop petting him, he’ll politely remind you with enthusiastic meows that he’s not done yet. Belly rubs? Yes, please. Wet food and Churu treats? Absolute favorites. A little catnip to spice things up? He’s in. This friendly, outgoing boy loves to explore his surroundings and be involved in whatever you’re doing. He gets along fine with other cats, but he’d also be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only feline companion. If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate cat who will make sure you never feel ignored, Onyx is ready to claim his spot as the star of your home. He is currently at the Purrfect Lounge in Plainville, a cat lounge where guests can visit and play with the cats. All meet & greets for Onyx will take place there, giving you a chance to see his sweet personality in action! His adoption fee is $250 ($200 goes to the rescue, $50 to the lounge) and Onyx is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered. If you're interested in this gorgeous guy, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Jerry Blaze, a three year old with a past - but he isn't talking! Come meet him and see if you can find out his story. This cat is waiting for it's Forever Home! Email adoptions@ctcatconnection.org with a question or better yet, complete an application for quickest consideration. (Application: https://www.ctcatconnection.org/adoption-application/). Select cats can be fostered instead! Apply on our website.A cat's behavior in the shelter may not be what it will be like in your home; if the cat is nervous, anxious, or agitated, please know that a shelter is a very stressful place for a cat. Most often, in a home, they thrive!Kitten Policy: Kittens must be able to socialize with other young cats or dogs as playmates, as it is important for their development. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we do not place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet all cats or kittens available for adoption at the time of visit. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care. Fill out an application, which can be found at https://www.ctcatconnection.org/get-involved/

Story
MESU is a friendly, outgoing girl about 1-2 years old gal who loves to be petted, brushed, and spend time with people. She is not a fan of other cats (or dogs) and really needs a home where she can be queen of the castle. Mesu is very playful still and would be a great companion for the cold winter months as she will keep you entertained with her silly antics. she came to us as a stray and was so matted she had to be shaved. Her pretty hair will grow back soon though and you'll have one gorgeous kitty. If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org. See this kitty in purrson at PETCO, 4559 Main St, Bridgeport any time they're open!
