Domestic Longhair kittens & cats in Ormond Beach, Florida

Boots was found and adopted as a kitten from a shelter in MA. The reason for needing to currently rehome is my living situation changed and I am in a smaller space/location. I have a dog as well and due to the smaller space, their personalities are clashing and I want to ensure both are safe which leads me to this difficult decision to do what’s best for Boots. He is shy at first but quickly warms up and is the best snuggly lap cat. As of 1/22/2026, Boots is still looking for his new best friend.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We personally thank you for your interest in adopting one or more of our wonderful cats or kittens! We have invested a lot of our time, energy and resources to offer a second chance to these rescued kitties. Many have been through situations already and our goal is to prevent that from happening again. We are committed to seeing our cats through, as we have poured our hearts into them, and take our adoptions seriously, even after they leave our care.   We encourage an ongoing relationship with our adopters, and look for people that are easy to work with.   If at any time in the cat’s life you are unable to keep him or her, you are required to return the cat(s) to us.  We don’t stop caring once the kitties leave! We make every effort that each adoption be successful. All adopters must complete an application. Each cat adoption includes vet work; Spay or Neuter, Appropriate Vaccines, Microchip (for most cats), FIV/FeLV Test, basic parasite treatments like deworming and ear checks (for mites), and any other potential medical need at the time he or she is in our care.  Courtesy listings or cats that are not in our immediate care, may not have all the listed services and can be discussed at the time of an interview. Our fees range from "any donation" - to 40 or 60 or so, for adults or over 1 year.  Average is 60 for teens, and kittens are 75 - 100 or so, depending on medical costs.  All fees are potentially flexible but we tend to consider it to be a reflection of the adopter's value in our kitties and their state of mind.
