814-806-4076 ADOPT TAYLOR KIT! Long haired kitty who needs a great home! This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: 814-806-4076 Cat located in this city: Daytona Beach Cat’s Name: Taylor Kit Cat’s Age & Sex: 12, Female Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): Taylor Kit was found outside my home before Thankgiving in rough shape. She was emaciated and and needed some love and care. Her previous owner was found, he abandoned her and refused to give her medical attention when it was desperately needed. I have nursed her back to health and she is ready for her forever home. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Taylor is an independent girl, who loves people and grows to tolerate other cats. She loves to play, eat cat nip, cuddle and use her scratcher. She is sweet, easy to care for girl and quiet. YouTube link to a video of her. Copy and paste this into your browser to view : https://youtube.com/shorts/DbfU6nGmljA?feature=share Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): She will come woth a scratcher, box of clumping litter, litter box, bed and several months of her medication for her bowel regulation (1/2 tab daily, 2 month supply is $10). What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): She prefers dry food but like churu type treats. :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this). :::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a cat carrier 2) Small adoption fee of: $15 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Driver's License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) *Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Thackery Binx was surrendered to PRBJ due to his family moving and they were unable to bring him with them.  He was then adopted and returned again after his owner passed away. He went into foster to let him settle and below is what his foster has said about him...We have had no problems with Binx. Everyone who has met him likes him, he's behaved well, he does normal cat things. He's eating well and uses the litter box. When he needs calm or is anxious he prefers to go under the bed. Loves to sleep in the bathroom sink. He is friendly and affectionate and will play whenever he is approached to play.  He will grab at brushes and combs so we recommend no young children and as he is independent we would like him to go to a home where he is the only cat.  He also knows how to open lever door handles so round door handles are required or locks on doors where he wouldn't be allowed. Foster Update 2/1/24:Thackery Binx is a magnificent cat! He is a fabulous companion and wants to be with you, yet he does not require a lot of attention, just your presence. He appears calm, steadfast, and is great company...And then there is Binx at play! He loves, just loves vigorous and exciting play. His favorite is a fishing rod toy whipping around for him to chase. He is fast, agile and strong. Binx is well mannered-he stays off kitchen counters and does not pester anyone eating. He is intelligent and learns quickly. Binx is friendly and affectionate, yet only wants to be in your lap for a couple of minutes. He enjoys petting, then will jump down and remain happily in your presence. He loves to lay on his back but does not like his belly touched. He will grab at brushes/combs, or your hand and 'play bite' so he is not a good match for children. Binx is looking for for someone to enjoy his 'trill' of greeting and share his days for his lifetime. Could that be you? Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2024, 10:40 pm

Story
Meet Sly, a charming and affectionate black and white cat who loves nothing more than cuddling up with his favorite humans. This handsome boy is outgoing and playful, always eager to greet visitors with a friendly meow and a nudge of his head. Sly has a soft, silky coat that he adores being brushed, and he'll happily sit still for hours while you give him a good grooming.  He's also a big fan of toys, especially ones that involve chasing and pouncing.  When it's time to wind down, Sly is content to curl up on your lap or next to his brother, Buddy. This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested positive for FIV and negative for FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.  Please put in an adoption application on our website, cats-can.org if you are interested or if you have any questions please email us at catscaninc@gmail.com C.A.T.S.-C.A.N., Inc. is a non-profit organization based in Geneva, Florida. 412-443-9456 ****ADOPT PEE-WEE, a Maine coon male cat with gorgeous long fur.. ***read this FULL section before calling** thanks This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if 412-443-9456 Cat located in this city: Winter Park, FL Cat’s Name: Pee-Wee Cat’s Age & Sex: 5, Male Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): spayed/neutered/microchipped Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): Pee-Wee was adopted from PAWS in Chicago in 2018 when he was just a baby. We have 2 other older cats and they never truly accepted Pee-Wee, so he has been a loner and always felt like an outsider with them. We have also moved several times and he has not adjusted well to the constantly changing environments. We purchased our first home in April 2023 and Pee-Wee suddenly developed a urinating problem in the house that had never been an issue in these last 5 years. We have tried everything and nothing has solved the issue, so we are looking to re-home him with a better living situation where he can thrive and feel comfortable. **** please know*** after contacting this rescue for help- she told us that his issues were mostly due to us feeding him DRY FOOD ONLY… and that is what may have started the issues. We didn’t know that cats needed wet food daily to help them avoid the urinary tract issues and kidney disease since cats have a LOW thirst drive and needed the moisture from their food (wet food is 75% moisture an dry food only 10%)… ++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++ UPDATED INFO AS OF 4-4-2024. - The vet prescribed him a liquid anti-anxiety medication that is helping - he is only eating wet food now!! - We prefer him to be in a quiet home. Pee Wee would NOT be a good fit for those with dogs or small children. ************ Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): ***** He is shy and hesitant at first, but once he warms up, he is extremely cuddly and affectionate. He often sleeps in our laps at night. He loves being petted on his neck. He does not like dry cat treats, but loves drinking water. Water is almost like a treat to him. He will drink water from the sink if it is dripping lightly. He will also drink water poured into a bottle water cap. It’s very cute. Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): ***** We can provide food, litter, & his cat tree What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): ***** He currently eats dry food (Hills Science Urinary Tract food) and he likes the Squeeze Up handheld wet lickable treats too. We can provide some of those if needed. We did take him to the vet 3 times, He was tested for Urinary tract infection (very common with cats eating dry food only) but they didn't see a UTI but there was traces of bacteria in his urine. They gave him an antibiotic for it. … Please read the info below on why cats need wet food daily and why limiting the dry food is also key. This could solve future issues! ***the rescue lady also said you could contact her (with furry nation salvation) to help him to begin to associate his litter box as a POSITIVE place so he will consistently use is. Part of solving any avoidance of litter box issues is UPPING his wet food intake significantly so he never gets any slight pain again in the cat box to make him want to avoid it in the future.
