Story
Charlie Téo is such a sweet baby! He is about two years old and LOVES cuddles. He is pretty clingy and deserves a lot of love and attention. We have three cats (including Charlie) and he gets along well with one, but unfortunately, he does not get along with the other one. This is the reasoning for our search for a new, safe, and loving home for him. He is 100% a people’s kitty.

Story
Cartman, 11, is finding a measure of happiness and peace again after having to come back to PAWS Atlanta because his owner was seriously ill. It has been a difficult situation for both of them, and returning to the shelter after a lifetime in a home is a very hard thing. Fortunately, a wonderful foster stepped up to take a very sad Cartman into her home. He keeps a low profile, stealthily biding his time under the bed or out of sight during the day and coming out to eat and explore overnight when the fosters are sleeping. His foster says Cartman seems to really like catnip, treats, feather wands, watching the birds out the window and having a safe place where he can relax. Having some peace and quiet to explore on his terms has been hugely helpful. His foster has been able to get Cartman to come close to her but he’s not yet ready for petting.

Story
This is August! He was a rescue kitten that I adopted from Petsmart 11 years ago. He is a shy, but warm cat once he gets comfortable. He is an indoor cat. He loves to be pet behind the ears and his fur combed. He has lived with 2 dogs since having him. We are looking to rehome him due to pregnancy and also allergies. He will enjoy a home that has space to relax and look out the window.

Story
"Courtesy Post" This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting a with placing their pet.  Meet Simba: The Golden Soul Simba is a large, long-haired male orange tabby who truly lives up to his royal name. He doesn’t just walk into a room—he graces it with his magnificent floof. A true “living room lion,” Simba is equal parts majestic and sweet, with a heart of gold hiding beneath all that glorious fur. This lion-hearted boy is happiest soaking up attention, lounging like the royalty he is, and reminding everyone that homes are better with extra warmth—and extra orange fluff. Simba is currently available and waiting to meet his forever family, ideally one ready to pamper him properly. Adopt Simba and upgrade your home to royal status. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $125 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet.  January 27, 2026, 8:50 pm

Story
Meet EVELYN — The Queen of Front Porches & Hearts from St. Augustine! Like a luxury model, Porches comes fully loaded — plush curves, premium fluff, and an engine that runs on affection! We believe she was a dumped pet, and honestly… we can’t imagine why. She was living on her own, matted, and begging for food. She was going from neighbor to neighbor. Evelyn literally showed up on a porch and never left, quickly making herself at home in laps, arms, and hearts. She is extremely affectionate, loves to be picked up, cuddled, and petted, and will happily claim your lap as her favorite seat. Features: Ultra people-oriented – LAP sitter, Loves to be Held - bonds quickly and loves attention Cat-friendly – no drama, no picking fights Toy lover – bells are her absolute favorite Stunning looks – mostly black with white patches, long luxurious fur, and gorgeous green eyes Indoor-ready – clearly comfortable being someone’s beloved pet She is fully vetted, spayed, and all shots, NO fleas. Her dental is very good, BTW!  While her exact age is unknown, we estimate she’s at least 2 years old. She’s got plenty of energy and personality — and yes, she’s a big girl, chubby and proud, with lots of love to give. EVELYN didn’t just choose a porch… she chose people. Now she’s ready to choose her forever home.  Ready to park Porches in your living room instead of your porch? She’s waiting to ride shotgun straight into your heart. FIV-Positive: Evelyn is FIV-positive, but shows zero symptoms. She is healthy and will remain healthy with an inside life and decent food. FIV cats can live long, happy, normal lives. FIV positive cats live normal lives when kept INSIDE and with good vet care.  NOTE:  Always a trial basis, fee refundable, and we take them back now or in the future!  Email (Preferred): awhar09@gmail.com Call/Text Janet: 404-520-1060 Visit: www.awhar.org All cats are guaranteed as far as health, and we take them back now or in the future if not a fit!! AWHAR will guarantee Evelyn's health for two years and will pay for vet visits.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 6, 2026, 9:22 am
