Story
Charlie Téo is such a sweet baby! He is about two years old and LOVES cuddles. He is pretty clingy and deserves a lot of love and attention. We have three cats (including Charlie) and he gets along well with one, but unfortunately, he does not get along with the other one. This is the reasoning for our search for a new, safe, and loving home for him. He is 100% a people’s kitty.

Story
"Courtesy Post" This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting a with placing their pet.  Meet Simba: The Golden Soul Simba is a large, long-haired male orange tabby who truly lives up to his royal name. He doesn’t just walk into a room—he graces it with his magnificent floof. A true “living room lion,” Simba is equal parts majestic and sweet, with a heart of gold hiding beneath all that glorious fur. This lion-hearted boy is happiest soaking up attention, lounging like the royalty he is, and reminding everyone that homes are better with extra warmth—and extra orange fluff. Simba is currently available and waiting to meet his forever family, ideally one ready to pamper him properly. Adopt Simba and upgrade your home to royal status. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $125 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet.  January 27, 2026, 8:50 pm

Story
Hi…My name is Dragonfly. I’m a beautiful long-haired dilute calico with soft pastel colors and an even softer heart. I’m very shy when we first meet, and I will hang back and watch you from a cozy spot while I decide if you’re my person. I promise—it’s not that I don’t care. I just like to take my time and feel safe. Once I start to trust you, you’ll see my gentle side come out more and more. I’m not the type to rush into things, but if you’re patient and kind, I’ll reward you with quiet companionship and sweet moments that feel extra special because they’re earned. Want to know my secret love language? Churu treats. They are the fastest way to my heart and a great way to help me build confidence. An experienced, understanding human who enjoys moving at my pace would be my perfect match.  I will require an experienced adopter willing to take their time with me. ##2306823##

Story
Cartman, 11, is finding a measure of happiness and peace again after having to come back to PAWS Atlanta because his owner was seriously ill. It has been a difficult situation for both of them, and returning to the shelter after a lifetime in a home is a very hard thing. Fortunately, a wonderful foster stepped up to take a very sad Cartman into her home. He keeps a low profile, stealthily biding his time under the bed or out of sight during the day and coming out to eat and explore overnight when the fosters are sleeping. His foster says Cartman seems to really like catnip, treats, feather wands, watching the birds out the window and having a safe place where he can relax. Having some peace and quiet to explore on his terms has been hugely helpful. His foster has been able to get Cartman to come close to her but he’s not yet ready for petting.

Story
Please contact Andrea (andrea@focusonthedetails.com) for more information about this pet.Application is required - Please go to www.ppnk.orgAdoption fee $125Joe Frazier is a handsome - and BIG - fellow! He and his littermates were orphaned at about 10-days old and bottle raised in the fall of 2024. He was adopted at about 2.5 months old, and returned to us a year later for being aggressive to their much smaller and submissive female cat. However, back in his foster home with other cats and kittens of varying ages, the foster room bouncer cat (also his size) kept him in his place. Like many older teenagers, he needs firm boundaries communicated to him by his peers, and would do best in a home where there isn't a submissive kitty that might let him get away with pushing them around. Joe is a gorgeous medium/longhair boy with enormous paws and a lion-like tail, with most of the floof at the end. While he may be initially a little shy, he warms up quickly and craves snuggles and attention. Is this big guy a contender for your forever love? Apply at http://www.ppnk.org.
