Say hello to Butch, a brown/gray-and-white tabby with an estimated birthday of 2/14/2025—and a personality as warm as the day he was born. From the moment he meets you, Butch radiates affection: he is the kind of cat who melts into your lap the second you sit down, settling in for movie nights, work sessions, or any moment that gives him the chance to be close to his person. He isn’t just a companion—he’s the definition of a shadow, choosing to spend his days right beside the humans he loves.
Butch is full of wonder and curiosity. Whether he’s sprinting through tunnel tubes, pouncing on toys, or exploring new spaces, he does everything with enthusiasm. When a toy really excites him, he’ll let out a playful growl—his funny little way of showing he’s “in the zone.” His confidence grows even more when he has a feline buddy by his side. He loves other cats and truly thrives with a friend who can match his energy, mentor him, and join him in daily play.
But perhaps the most extraordinary part of Butch’s story is what he has overcome.
💛 Butch’s Strength: An FIP Survivor
Butch wasn’t always this vibrant, joyful kitten. He faced something many cats never recover from: Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). What began as subtle symptoms soon became a devastating diagnosis—one that only recently became treatable. Butch went through the full treatment protocol, endured the injections and medications, and fought with every ounce of his tiny body. And he won.
Today, Butch is not only healthy—he is thriving. His resilience shines through in everything he does. The tenderness he shows, the closeness he seeks, the gratitude in his gentle purrs… it all speaks to a kitten who has known struggle and come out stronger. Butch is truly a miracle survivor, a fighter with an enormous heart who is ready for a forever home worthy of his story.
A future family will not just be adopting a cat—they’ll be welcoming a brave, affectionate soul who has proven that love, care, and determination can change everything.
All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.

All animals are already spayed/neutered, FIV/FeLV tested negative, micro-chipped, de-wormed and have all necessary shots. They are ready to go to a loving home. Adoption fee is $175.00 each.
