Story
Once upon a time, there was a stray cat walking around a small town looking for food. After a few days of seeing the cat outside, eating food that was left for her by caring homeowners, some good-hearted people became concerned for its safety. One of the people picked the cat up, and contacted a rescue (that would be us) to see if it would be able to take the cat in and care for it. The rescue agreed to admit the cat into their foster program, and after a required isolation period, the cat, now named Ginny, was placed into the general cat population. It soon became evident that unlike all the other felines, Ginny was no ordinary cat. No, she was not. In fact, it turned out that Ginny was a princess. She demanded constant attention, got upset when told ""no"" (even held a grudge), and decided that the food variety the common cats were eating was not good enough for her. The rescue has been trying to accommodate Ginny's wishes as much as possible, but it believes Ginny deserves a home where she is treated like a princess all the time. Ginny is a sweet girl who will park herself in your lap as soon as you sit down. She likes to be the center of attention, and even though she lives with other cats (and three small dogs) right now, she would do best in a home without other animals, or with a cat/dog that is very calm. We believe Ginny was raised as a single kitten since she was very young, perhaps even bottle fed. She does display some ""single kitten syndrome"" behaviors at times, so her home should not have young children. An experienced cat owner who understands cat behavior would be the best fit for her.With her orange and white coloring, and long hair, she is a very unique looking female cat. Her tail is broken in two places, but per our veterinarian, it does not seem to cause her any pain/discomfort. It appears to have been caught in a closing door when she was younger, which is a good possibility since Ginny follows her person everywhere. Ginny is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. She was dewormed several times.
