Story
River is a super handsome, petite male kitty who came to us as a stray. He was semi feral at first until we got ready to send him to a barn home and he rolled over one day and let us pet his tummy. We decided he was too nice to be outside, so here he is. River is small in stature but by far makes up for that with his huge heart of gold. This boy is so loving and thrives on attention. He would do great in a home with dogs, cats and kids who are respectful of his space. He's just a great boy that wants a loving home of his very own. ........... Please come meet this sweet soul soon! (We keep our posts up-to-date.) We do ADOPTIONS BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, on a first-come/first serve basis. The EASIEST and QUICKEST way to make an appointment is to click the blue "Book Now" button at the top of our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/maccoanimalcontrol. If there is a pet you really want, we highly recommend making an appointment as early and soon as possible, since we generally are first-come, first-serve. Be sure and write this pet’s name in the note section of the form, so we know who you want to see. No need to email us prior to making an appointment, unless you have a specific question. If you are not on FaceBook, tell us that when you fill out the form on this page or email us. He is the sweetest cuddle bug. He’s interested in everything you do and wants to be involved in Everything. His only issue is he isn’t good with other cats at all. He’s such a sweet boy otherwise and it breaks my heart to part with him

Story
Hi, my name is Sandy and I'm about 7 years old. One of the Bond County Humane Society volunteers found me along the interstate looking emaciated, dehydrated, and covered in ticks. I was so small she thought I was a kitten. When I was examined by the veterinarian it turned out that my teeth were not in good shape, so they have all been removed. I can eat as well as ever.  I am on a special diet of hypoallergenic food because I was having a reaction to my regular cat food.  I am cautious with new people, but then I will warm up and enjoy being held. I like to watch the other cats in my community room but I am cautious about interacting with them. I am litter-box trained, but sometimes I miss and go over the side. I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is waived.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Lucky is the epitome of a people-person (or rather, a people-cat!). She adores being the center of attention and will happily curl up on your lap for hours, soaking up all the cuddles and pets she can get. While Lucky absolutely adores humans, she has one small quirk - shes not a fan of dogs. Despite her best efforts, Lucky hasnt quite warmed up to her canine counterparts and prefers a home where she lives with other cats or humans. However, she has plenty of love to give and promises to be the most loyal and loving companion to her human family. Lucky is in search of a forever home where she can bask in the love and attention she deserves. Whether youre a single person looking for a cuddly companion or a family in need of a feline friend, Lucky is ready to fill your home with warmth and affection.
