Story
I’ve had Mama since she was a kitten. I was in an abusive relationship and she kept the cats. I left the relationship. About 2 years later I got a call from the shelter saying they were surrendered so I went and picked them up and moved them to Illinois with my mom. Since then they have became too much for my mom to handle and I would like them to be in a forever loving home. Please feel free to reach out to me for anything. I’d rather them be in a house alone because I’m not sure how they’d do with another cat or even a dog.

Story
Meet the sweetest boy Twig! Twig was surrendered to GPG because his caregiver was overwhelmed. He is older, about 14 years old and his life has been marked by chronic illness. You see, Twig is what we call a "chronic snuffler." This is a cat who is affected by chronic rhinitis and sinusitis (respiratory and sinus infections). This can occur early in life due to infectious disease, but as chronic changes (scar tissue) develops, the nasal anatomy changes and predisposes these creatures to chronic snuffling/sneezing. His symptoms can wax and wane, but Twig usually has some degree of sneezing, nasal discharge, and noisy breathing sounds, (this would be comparable to a person with a deviated septum due to chronic sinus infections). We are having some success managing his symptoms with medication, but the expectation is that he will need to be managed forever, never cured. Twig has personality-plus and despite his hardship, his spirits are never down! We'd love to give this guy a golden parachute into a loving hospice like home for whatever amount of time he has left. As of right now our testing indicates that Twig isn't chronically shedding infectious disease, but it's still prudent that he be the only cat, (or kept separate from other cats that aren't already chronic snufflers). If your home may fit this profile, please put in an adoption application today! All of our dogs and cats will be microchipped, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption. Story
Fuzzy is a charmer who used to roam the outdoors but has since found his true calling in the cozy comforts of indoor life. He transitioned to indoor living a few months ago and has embraced it with gusto. His favorite pastimes include elegantly perching on the cat tree, where he can survey his kingdom with regal poise. When he's not on his throne, Fuzzy can be found snuggling on the bed, relishing the warmth and comfort it offers. He has a charmingly demanding side, often insisting on pets and affection from his human companions, ensuring that he receives the attention he rightfully deserves.
