Astro just turned 2 in November! He is shy at first but very friendly and loves to cuddle! He would be much more comfortable in a home with no children. He is bonded with another cat girl named Spirit so would be comfortable rehoming with her!

Story
Hi, my name is Xavier and I'm about 9 months old.  My siblings and I were born to a feral mom. Then we were surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so we can find loving furever homes. We are living in a foster home with other cats and a dog. I am a beautiful black kitten with a smokey tail.  My foster mom says  " Xavier is a fluffy bundle of love who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. Whether he’s snuggled in your arms, perched on your shoulders like the little prince he is, or zooming on his exercise wheel, Xavier’s sweet personality shines through. He’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s part of whatever you’re doing. If you’re looking for a companion who loves cuddles as much as adventures, Xavier is your guy!"   I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Opal is a very catty girl, she is very playful and likes to chase toys around the house. We adopted her when she was 1.4 years old, she still hasn’t settled in with our two other cats over the last year. My wife and I didn’t make this decision easily, our other cats are older and are a but timid Opal seems to not be matching their energy and personality. She still has some of her kitten energy so shed settle in quickly. She would do best in a home with a cat who likes to play a lot or by herself. Opal is house trained and had no issues with using the bathroom, currently she uses a litter robot but has used traditional litter boxes in the past without issue. She is very sweet and playful spayed and vaccinated. Located in Alton, Illinois Area. Small Rehoming to ensure she goes to a loving home, willing to travel up to 2-3 hours or more with an additional fee, once again she is a big part of our lives but she will have a more fulfilling life in a better environment.

Story
Meet Church, a handsome 4-year-old long-haired brown tabby with a personality as relaxed as his silky coat. This laid-back gentleman takes life at his own easygoing pace, making him the perfect companion for a calm and peaceful home. Church enjoys lounging in sunny spots, watching the world go by, and being pampered with gentle brushes to keep his stunning fur in top shape. Whether you're looking for a quiet buddy to relax with or someone to share your day, Church is ready to bring his soothing presence to your life. Church has FIV, which means he has a weaker immune system than most cats. FIV cats can live a long, happy life, but should not go to a home with FIV-negative cats. If you are interested in adopting him, call the APL at 217-544-7387 or fill out an application at apl-shelter.org!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Sammy 🐾 Sammy is a striking 5-year-old domestic longhair with a gorgeous, flowing coat and a playful spark that truly makes him stand out. He has personality to spare and isn’t shy about letting it shine! This spunky guy loves to play and explore—chasing toys and batting at wand toys with enthusiasm. Sammy enjoys attention, but on his own terms. He can become overstimulated, so he’ll do best with someone who understands feline body language, is willing to go slow, and respects his need for space when he asks for it. Sammy has FIV, which means he has a weaker immune system. Cats with FIV can live long, happy lives, but Sammy will need to be the only cat or live with other FIV-positive cats. He is also looking for an adult-only home with no dogs, where he can feel safe, comfortable, and understood. If you’re looking for a fun, spirited companion with lots of character, Sammy may be your perfect match. Come meet him at the Animal Protective League, 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We’re open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
