Story
Hi, my name is Finnegan and I'm about 11 months old. I was born to a stray mama cat and surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so I can find a loving furever home. I have been living in a foster home since I was 6 weeks old. My foster mom says I'm the special one in my litter! I'm the only long-haired one, and I'm a very attractive buff color. My name means "fair-haired" in Irish. My foster mom thinks I will have very long hair and maybe a mane as I grow up.  Right now I'm starting to become fluffier. I like running around, more than just playing with toys. I run up the tall cat tree like a professional. I zoom around the kitchen and hallway. I run through the different tunnels. My favorite spot is on the floor right in front of the refrigerator. I like to be cuddled when I'm tired. I talk all the time, with lots of little chirps, when I am tired, hungry, wanting attention, playing, or bored! I'm the only one of my litter who actually meows .  I am available for immediate adoption. I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $100.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.February 13, 2026, 10:51 am

Story
Hi, my name is Xavier and I'm about 10 months old.  My siblings and I were born to a feral mom. Then we were surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so we can find loving furever homes. We are living in a foster home with other cats and a dog. I am a beautiful black kitten with a smokey tail.  My foster mom says  " Xavier is a fluffy bundle of love who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. Whether he’s snuggled in your arms, perched on your shoulders like the little prince he is, or zooming on his exercise wheel, Xavier’s sweet personality shines through. He’s playful, affectionate, and happiest when he’s part of whatever you’re doing. If you’re looking for a companion who loves cuddles as much as adventures, Xavier is your guy!"   I am available for immediate adoption. A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Lucien and I'm about 11 months old. I was born to a stray mama cat and surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so I can find a loving furever home. I have been living in a foster home since I was 6 weeks old. I am a very handsome guy, with a unique white swirl pattern in my buff coat. My name means "light" in French. People who have seen me have all called me "swirl" at first, though! My foster mom says I have a great personality and am very loving. I like to sit with you or sleep next to you. I have taught myself to fetch! I have a little blue mouse that I love to run after and bring back to where you are. It's my very favorite thing to do. One of my favorite toys is the turbo scratcher. I love hitting the ball and watching it go around the track. I am known to do somersaults and flips when I play with it. I really enjoy running around with my siblings. I am always ready to play! A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.February 9, 2026, 2:27 pm

Story
Opal is a very catty girl, she is very playful and likes to chase toys around the house. We adopted her when she was 1.4 years old, she still hasn’t settled in with our two other cats over the last year. My wife and I didn’t make this decision easily, our other cats are older and are a but timid Opal seems to not be matching their energy and personality. She still has some of her kitten energy so shed settle in quickly. She would do best in a home with a cat who likes to play a lot or by herself. Opal is house trained and had no issues with using the bathroom, currently she uses a litter robot but has used traditional litter boxes in the past without issue. She is very sweet and playful spayed and vaccinated. Located in Alton, Illinois Area. Small Rehoming to ensure she goes to a loving home, willing to travel up to 2-3 hours or more with an additional fee, once again she is a big part of our lives but she will have a more fulfilling life in a better environment.
