Story
You wanna hear something crazy? I was born with a cleft lip and legs that were bent...I mean, gee...to top it all off, my Mommy Parti and my siblings Chess and Mancala and me were in a bad situation too. Fortunately, we were rescued and next thing we knew, we were all together in a foster home! At first, the foster folks were wondering if my legs were going to need some real help...so they did some x-rays and talked about options for helping me. Well, I showed them and as soon as I could, I got my legs stronger and straighter and now they are ok! And another miracle - even though I was born with a cleft lip, I was always able to drink my Mommy's milk and then eat kitten food. So, I guess you could say, I am a bit of a miracle! Not only that, and I don't like to brag, but my coat is long and fluffy and GORGEOUS! Foster Mommy loves to say I am UNIQUE! My nose is a bit different from other kittens but she says that just makes me EXTRA special. What do you think? I am a bit shy but I appreciate it when you pick me up slowly and talk to me gently. I adore playing with toys and my siblings but taking a cat nap is right up there too! I use the litter box just fine in case you were wondering. Maybe I will see you soon? Love, Checkers ONLY AVAILABLE IN TEXAS This cat can only be adopted in the state of Texas and has an adoption fee of $150.

Story
Stella has come a long way since coming into foster care. She came to me scared and angry. She had strong thoughts and would lash out. After 6 months in a safe and stable home Stella is thriving. She is so very playful. She is always ready to chase or soar through the air for a toy. Her most favorite thing is a Churu treat, this is where you’ll earn her trust. Loves loves loves her special treats. Stella wears a calming collar to help her chill out because while she has made improvements she still has her boundaries. In general, she will tell you with a meow and a swat that she is done being pet. Physical touch is something that is earned but it’s so worth it when she lets you pet her super soft fur. It takes time to learn her cues so a patient adopter is a must. In general she is a quality time cat, she likes to be where you are.   Stella gets along with other cats with slow intros (change is hard but she can adjust). But I think she would also thrive as a one and only. Dogs are unknown but I think if the dog left her alone she would be fine after the adjustment period.  July 26, 2024, 11:17 am

Story
Little Lady is a stunner, for sure. But her purrsonality is what will weave into your heart. She is very affectionate, loving a gentle stroke along her soft fur, and cuddle time on your lap. A bit skittish at first, Little Lady will do best in a quiet home, where she can have play time, meal time, and lovin’ time with you. Little Lady has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), a condition that suppresses her immune system. But she is a perfectly healthy cat, with no signs of being slowed down by FIV! Most cats with FIV live long, healthy lives with no symptoms at all. The virus is not spread to people or dogs. And it is not spread to cats through casual contact -- like sharing litter boxes, water and food bowls, or through snuggling, grooming, and playing. Lady is about 1-2 years old, spayed, Felv negative, UTD on vaccinations, treated for parasites, microchipped (with lifetime free registration), and fostered/ socialized in a loving family home. The works! Please call Wendi at (859) 394-4910 or Brittney at (513) 265-7293 if interested. Little Lady’s adoption fee is $125. We also offer two cats for $200.
