Story
shark is a friendly adult male cat. i’m not sure his exact age but he is presumably older. he has lots of energy and loves attention. he’s kind of clingy and loves constant cuddles and to be around people. i adopted him from a shelter but because of work i am not home a lot to spend time with him and want to find him someone that can be. he is a medium to long hair cat. (black fur) but recently got shaved because of how long and patchy his fur was so he looks a little funny right now lol.

Story
Prince Louis (pronounced Loo-ee) is truly a beautiful cat! He needs a home that can provide him with the love and attention he deserves now that he's getting older. He lives up to his regal name and enjoys basking in the sun and looking out the window. He has been an indoor-only cat, grown up around another male cat, and is good with children. He has always tolerated whatever is going on but would probably prefer a household with supervised children and other quiet cats. He may also prefer to be the center of attention. He is neutered and received veterinary care when necessary. He does have a sensitive stomach, and like other long-haired cats, he requires more maintenance.Prince Louis is getting older and needs more help with grooming himself. Someone who is able to provide him attention, brush him regularly, and clean him occasionally will be able to get him to his former glory.

Story
Khajiit is a long hair, tortoiseshell kitty just under two years of age. She is a CH cat (Cerebral Hypoplasia) aka a wobbly cat! Her condition is moderate. She can walk, run, eat, play and use the litterbox on her own like a normal cat, but she requires some special care. She is unable to jump up on most things and when you play you have to be careful she won't run into things in her excitement. And excited she is! She loves to play and loves to interact with other cats. She can be nervous and shy for a long time and would do well in a home without kids, dogs, or a lot of chaos. She is in good health and is updated on all her shots.

Story
Meet Gertie , a whisper of silver and snow wrapped in a cloud of soft fur. A true wallflower at heart, Gertie is a master of the quiet moments. She doesn’t demand the spotlight; instead, she prefers to observe the world from the safety of a cozy nook or the shadow of a trailing curtain. With her long, ethereal coat and soulful eyes, she looks like a creature out of a fairytale and only reveals her magic to those patient enough to earn her trust. When she finally decides the coast is clear, Gertie’s affection is like a rare gift. It starts with a tentative "chirp" and ends with a gentle lean against your hand, her way of saying you’ve been chosen. She is a professional sunbeam seeker, a connoisseur of quiet afternoon naps, and a reminder that the most beautiful souls are often the quietest. Gertie would do best in a quiet home as your only cat.  She's around 3 years old. I f you’d like to meet Gertie, please fill out a cat adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a meet with an approved adopter! You can also meet Gertie at our weekly adoption event every Saturday 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at PetSmart Eastgate. Our cats are fully vetted and we require indoor-only homes. All other pets in the home must be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on all vaccines. We will not send cats to home where they will be declawed as it is a harmful practice that can cause lifelong physical and behavioral problems. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, vaccinated, combo tested, dewormed, and microchipped. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 10, 2026, 4:57 pm
