Nina , she is a beautiful long haired friendly cat . Currently in  a home with another cat , children, and dogs . She does not care for  dogs and will hiss at any canine friend , but will not hurt them .  Very good with cats , and my children have picked her up and carried  her around since she was little . Very sweet and wants cuddles but  also very independent . Will spend her days in the middle of your home , upside down in the cutest poses and loves batting around cat toys ! Davis was found outside in pretty rough shape.  People were feeding him and trying to make friends with him....but he was just not sure about it. Finally someone got him in a carrier and we were contacted.  Davis was pretty defensive at first, but clearly he had been someone's pet at one point. Now he loves attention and is great with other cats.  He may take a little bit to think you are worthy of his attention, but once he figures you are ok, he looks for the lovin.  He can be a bit of a grump....but we find it endearing!  We call him our bi-polar cat - rubs on your legs then turns and hisses!  He is a bit of a weirdo!  We do have him on some supplements to help him feel more secure and calm.  They really seem to help, but we would not feel comfortable adopting him out to a home with children. Davis also has the kind of hair that mats easily.  We recently had him shaved and he is sooo much happier!  But he will likely need to have this done a couple of times a year. PESTO is a longish-haired dark tabby young adult with a little white kiss at his throat, and a fluffy tail!  He's a mellow kitty; very affectionate and interactive.  Loves to be held & petted and to be part of your activities, on your lap, on your desk, hanging out wherever you are! **He was recently determined to have a heart murmur; which requires him to have daily medication to help his heart work more efficiently.  (He's easy about taking his daily pill.) He and sister, Vanilla Bean (part of the Spicy litter) were born on 7/20/21; adopted out together as kittens, but recently returned to the rescue due to their family's divorce and relocation.  (The family had a couple of older childen and a medium sized dog, that they did well with.)  They got re-accustomed to their former foster home very quickly & easily; seem to be very adaptable.  Both are used to being brushed daily, and getting their nails trimmed - and they've become accustomed to treats when they give “hugs”(they’ll stretch out their arms as if asking you to pick them up).  Former owner says: Pesto is a mischievous, playful, sweet, loving, highly affectionate type of kitty.  He’s a gentle soul; gets along with anyone, anything, and loves to give hugs! He will lay on your lap all day as long as you rub his head and pet him endearingly.  He loves toy feathers on a string, crinkle/bell balls and his special spot in the sun behind the couch. He is allergic to a single flea bite which will cause flea bite dermatitis, making his soft coat come out in patches.  He's adventurous and although always kept indoors, has tended to be very curious about the outdoors and will venture out if not carefully watched. Pesto has very long legs and looks like a lanky teenager who is always looking for the next game to play. He will find anything to entertain himself with so as long as his sister isn’t around to “discipline” his outgoing self. This handsome boy came to us not feeling great - but look at him now!  He is a healthy, happy boy!  He would do best in a quiet home but needs other cats to live with.  He does not like dogs and can be timid at first.  But once he warms up to people, he loves to snuggle and sleep in bed with his humans. Born around fall of 2021. Stimpy is a beautiful grey long haired male that is completely  blind. He learns his surroundings quickly and gets around good. (Mr.) BITSY is a cutie!  Whoops - originally thought to be female; we found out SHE is actually a HE - hence the "Mr"!  Long haired, brown tabby with bright white markings & a dark nose!  He's playful & active & affectionate.  One of the 4 trash kitties - thrown out in a box at an apartment dumpster when they were only a few day old.  Luckily, a kind gal found them; bottle fed them and reached out for a rescue group to take them in & find them homes. They'd love to be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another kitty for them to play with.  Born February of 2023. Named for the 4 Disney SUPERKITTIES cartoon characters - Jimmy, (Mr) Bitsy, Sparks & Buddy - "four fierce and furry superhero kittens on a mission to make Kittydale a more caring and pawesome place."
