Story
Meet Mittens, the adorable little kitten with a heart of gold! I found my way to CAHS seeking a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of my previous home. I thrive on affection and will gladly become your loyal shadow. Playing with toys brings me endless joy, and I've been known to get along famously with other feline friends. However, I do prefer a serene environment without dogs or energetic youngsters. If you're seeking a loving companion to brighten your days, look no further than Mittens!

Story
Hi there! My name is Cow! I found my way to CAHS as a stray, and unfortunately, nobody ever came to claim me. Initially, I was a bit wary of people, but with time, patience, and plenty of love, I've blossomed into a real sweetheart! I'm a social butterfly who adores the company of both feline friends and humans alike. While I absolutely love cuddling up with my people and soaking in all the affection I can get, I also enjoy the playful antics of my fellow cats. Ideally, I'm looking for a forever home where I can be surrounded by both cat pals and humans who'll shower me with love and attention. I'm the type of kitty who would happily spend all day nestled on your lap, reveling in gentle pets and scratches. While I'm generally a laid-back and friendly feline, I would do best in a home with kids and teens who understand how to interact respectfully with cats. With a proper introduction, I could even learn to coexist with a calm doggy companion. If you're in search of a loving and affectionate feline companion who will brighten your days with purrs and cuddles, then look no further-Cow is here to steal your heart!

Story
Charlie - Male DOB 6/14/2015 Domestic Long Hair Black & White Tuxedo - Meet Charlie! This handsome long-hair tuxedo gent is originally from North Carolina.  He spent the last 7 years in his northern home, but unfortunately, was recently returned to FuRRR.  Charlie is a friendly guy that likes to spend most of his time lounging, either on a big fluffy soft blanket or in a sunny window watching birds, and wildlife.  He also likes being brushed, have to keep that gorgeous fur all soft and mat free!  Charlie also has a playful side.  He finds it very amusing to open cabinet doors, and take a look inside.  His favorite things are flat scratch pads, and chasing the red laser dot!  Charlie will do well in a quiet home, with someone who would like a companion, but isn't looking for a cat that needs constant attention.  He isn't a lap cat, but he is very happy to lay down by your side to watch tv, or sleep near your feet in bed.  Charlie would also do best as your only pet, and without young children in the home.  This gorgeous big hunk would really like to find his home soon.  If you are interested and he sounds like a match, please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Story
Tippy is a sweet but shy senior looking for a nice home to spend her golden years in. Tippy can be quite nervous and shy on first meetings and prefers to spend her time in soft cozy spots. Tippy is declawed on all four paws. She gets along with other cats but we think that dogs may be too much for her. Tippy is current on vaccines, microchipped, and spayed.

Story
Jack is a very handsome and charming 14-1/2-year-old boy who has quickly become a volunteer favorite. He was surrendered to HART since his previous owner could not offer the care he needed. Jack started out at HART very confused and defensive. After being here after about a week or two, he really started to trust the new people in his life. He has an independent and courageous spirit that will surely win you over. He enjoys being petted, brushed and held and will start purring almost immediately. He loves being spoiled the most.Or medical team found that he has some joint issues in his legs and he is on a medication now to help him with any pain he might be experiencing. To help him continue and monitor this treatment and care we require that his new home have an established vet before adopting him. He's also eating a diet to help him with kidney care. Before adopting him, you'll meet with a member of our Shy Angels program to discuss his needs and your needs for a successful adoption. We think you'll fall in love with this wonderful kitty like we have. Please come meet him in Room 5 at the shelter.Go to our website, www.hartofme.org, to submit your online application today!***FKA = Formerly Known As
