Story
Darla - Female DOB 5/4/2025 Domestic Long Hair - Tortoiseshell Darla may be a tad shy when she first goes to her new home, but once she’s comfortable, she’s all affection. She has long, silky fur and a gentle way about her. She will find comfort in laying in your lap if you sit on the floor or near her.  She loves wand toys, darting through tunnels, and then curling up close when playtime is over. One of our favorite things is finding her curled into a little ball next to her person during quiet TV time, completely content.  Darla really likes to hog all the attention from her people, so she would do well with someone who is home a lot, and would be fine by herself or with another friendly kitty who doesn’t mind sharing their attention with her.  No dogs or young children would be best for Darla.  Older, respectful children who understand when to give them space may be okay. Please apply via our easy online application at https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/All kitten(s) and cat(s) at FuRRR Feline Rescue are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations for their age, combo tested for FIV/FeLV, microchipped and have a Health Certificate from a licensed NH veterinarian.  Our application is available to be completed online at  https://furrr.org/cat-adoption-process/  Applying DOES NOT guarantee approval.  We hold meet and greets with approved applications only.  (Kittens are available for adoption in pairs only unless they are going home to another kitten or young cat under 3) Our policy is strictly NO DECLAWING and INDOOR ONLY. Adoption fees: Kitten to 1 yr - $300  Kitten pairs $550 Adult cat 1+ yr to 8 yr - $200 Adult pairs $350 Cat 8+ - $75 February 12, 2026, 6:28 pm

Story
Meet beautiful Dove! She is a very shy girl that will take time to warm up to you and learn to trust her humans. She was found as a stray and we don't know much about how she would do with other pets in the home. She would prefer to go to a quiet and calm home where she can slowly come out of her shell.

Story
All interested people should submit an adoption application as their first step. MEET PEARL Pearl is a regal, longhaired gray kitten who once ruled the streets alongside her mom and sister- caught just in time before the storms and freezing temps rolled in. Though she came to us as a semi-feral, Pearl quickly discovered the indoor life suits her beautifully and has made huge strides. Curious and observant, Pearl is the more confident half of her bonded duo. She accepts gentle pats more willingly and enjoys keeping an eye on everything happening around her- including other cats, who she finds very interesting. Most importantly, she adores her sister and brings out the very best in her, which is why they will be adopted together. Pearl will thrive in a quiet, calm home with no dogs or young children, as busy environments can make her retreat and hide. A friendly, well-adjusted cat would be a wonderful bonus and can help show these girls the ropes. Pearl and her sister are looking for a patient, loving home where they can continue to blossom- together!  All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only. February 8, 2026, 6:03 pm
