  Noah - Male Neutered DOB 4/25/2022 Domestic Long Hair Orange Tabby -  Noah is one of the RAIN litter (Raven, Arthur, Ivy, Noah) who were found by one of our North Carolina fosters.  All 4 kittens in this litter had a condition called Eyelid agenesis.  Eyelid agenesis, a congenital disorder in which the eyelid doesn’t form properly during embryonic development. The cause of the condition is unknown, but it is speculated to be either genetic, viral or environmental. The function of the eyelid is to protect the eye from drying out, debris and trauma. The lower portion of the eyelid has eyelashes, which point away from the face. Because cats with agenesis don’t have an eyelid margin, the remaining fur around the eye can rub against the delicate cornea ( trichiasis ). The eyes are exposed to debris from the environment, tears will not be able to spread across the eyeball, which leads to dryness, pain, discomfort, and trauma. Each kitten had surgery on their eyes (a couple had multiple surgeries) and then they were finally cleared for their new homes.  Noah is the "chill kitty" of the litter.  He is a very calm, laid back type of cat, he gets along well with other kitties but is more of a couch potato than a crazy playful cat.  Noah also loves to be in the sink when you are near it!  Turn on a trickle and he will be right there, putting his head under to get a drink and playing in it with his big hairy paws!  Such a love bug, and super ready to find his new home.  No dogs, respectful children 12+.  Apply at www.furrr.org to adopt some aMEOWzing kitties! This handsome hunky feline is Ralphie! Ralphie came to us with his friend, Rusty. Ralphie and Rusty are always snuggling and love each other very much, so they would like to go home together. Ralphie is a bit more outgoing between he and Rusty, but they both love attention! He isn't thrilled about being picked up or handled a lot though, so a home with no young children would probably be best. This crazy young cat is Zoe! Zoe plays hard and is in a constant state of motion; if anything around her moves, she is on it! She may benefit from having a cat friend in her new home that she can play with, but who will also show her the ropes and won't be afraid to teach Zoe when enough is enough. Zoe can play very rough and would do better in a home with teenagers 14 and up as she may nip when she is overstimulated. We do not know how she would do with a dog.
