Story
Gamora is an incredibly affectionate momma. She will follow you around the house and she loves to just exist in the same room as you. She loves to be pet and she'll do whatever you want for a Churu. She is FIV positive and a little combative with other cats but with a slow introduction she could definitely live a long and healthy life with other cats. Location: in foster Medical: Because Evander is FIV positive, he needs a low stress environment, quality food, exams at least yearly and proactive veterinary care to ensure he stays healthy. Because he has a compromised immune system, he'e not the type of cat that you try the "wait it out" approach if he's sick. Although FIV cats can be more prone to certain medical diseases, they more often than not live completely normal lives compared to their counterparts. As medicine has advanced, we now know that having FIV is not at all a death sentence like it had been treated as previously. These cats live comparable lives to non FIV positive cats and deserve a home and love all the same. We highly recommend finding a veterinarian who is comfortable with and knowledgable about FIV. Depending on their clients, FIV may not be something that every veterinarian sees regularly in their practice, so it can be daunting and they may not be familiar with the most recent guidelines for FIV cats and how they can live normal and healthy lives. You can learn more about FIV through the American Association of Feline Practitioners' Feline Retrovirus Management Guidelines or from the Feline Veterinary Medicine Association's website and brochures such as this one! https://catvets.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/FelineVMA_FeLV-and-FIV-Broch_Web.2.pdf All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and de-wormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption. Story
Edgar is a 5 year old rescue cat who has lots of love to offer! Since rescuing Edgar, I have gotten married and had 2 young children. Edgar is extremely affectionate, and has been acting out since we cannot give him the attention he desires (and deserves!) He tends to be anxious, and would thrive in a calm environment with lots of affection. He is litter box trained, however, has been having accidents (urine) due to stress from our young children. He is completely healthy per the vet! Edgar is bonded with his brother, Elmer, a medium haired grey one-eyed cat who is also a lover. We would prefer for them to be rehomed together. Edgar loves pets, but can be a bit skittish until he warms up to you. I am confident that with extra love and care, Edgar can be an amazing cat for you - along with his brother, Elmer!

Story
Birdie is a delightful nine-year-old calico with a friendly, welcoming personality. She enjoys spending her days stretched out in her big cozy bed, but as soon as you enter the room, she’s quick to greet you with cheerful meows and a request for pets. Birdie is social and comfortable in new places, happily soaking up affection while letting you know when she prefers gentler touches. Birdie is a "solo star" and would do best as the only cat in the home. She would also thrive in an adult only household, which will provide the calming space she deserves.
