Not good with kids, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained,
Story
•She is not spayed due to outsmarting me before vet appointments, she will need sedation for the vet, she is spicy toward medical staff •She likes to be held like a baby and cuddled when you come home from work. If you do not do this or stop cuddling too early, she will take offense that you ‘did not miss her’ and will nip at your ankles for revenge •She’s very playful,-she plays fetch (I say “ready, set, go” and then I throw the ball. She doesn’t really bring it back to you, she just likes to chase it) •She is unfortunately very afraid of strangers. It may take her a while to warm up to you, which is why I said I prefer people who *know* cats. She is the same with new places, so if you have an extra room, this is a plus. She is simply very anxious, and YOU are her emotional support human, instead of it being the other way around. •She likes to eat Purina ONE Tender Selects, specifically salmon flavor. She loves wet fish as well as catnip/silvervine. •She’s a big baby playing tough

Story
Leia is 5 years old, up to date on shots and really needing more love than we are able to provide anymore. Leia needs a home with zero children in it due to her anxiety around them, which is our reason for rehoming. She has primarily lived in our basement, away from our children for at least the last year, other than when they are not home or are sleeping (our son is 3.5 and has never touched her, let alone seen her more than a handful of times, and I'm pretty sure our youngest child doesn't even know we have more than one cat). She has a strong bond with our other cat, Luke, which makes me believe she would do well in a home with other cats but please no dogs. I would much rather find her a loving home than take her to a shelter, so we will be asking for a small rehoming fee to ensure she goes to the right home. Please feel free to message me with any questions you have. We are heartbroken and this is not the route we wanted to take and did try alternative methods prior to this one.
