Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I'm Aífe! That's pronounced EE-fa and comes from the old Irish word for beauty. I sure think it fits! I came to DITR after I was discovered to be the last kitten in a litter that was already in foster care. My mom dropped me off at a kind woman's home and she made sure I made it back to my litter mates. Now I spend my days lounging around, playing with toys, and snuggling with my foster mom. I LOVE when she brushes my long, beautiful fur, especially since she has to do it often! I really love my foster mom and have become quite attached to her, so I'm looking for a furever family who will love me just as much, or even more! Finding a furever home is important because I need to be in a home where I can get LOTS and LOTS of attention. Someone who is home often would be perfect for me! I get along with the friendly, laid back kitties in my foster home, but I am afraid of the Queen kitty in charge. I'd really like to be the Queen kitty of my own home. My foster mom says I am the sweetest kitty who deserves the best life, could you be the one to bring me home?        Aífe is a very sweet and snuggly cat. She loves to talk and get lots of pets. She does startle easily, so a home WITHOUT small children and dogs is necessary. She does take a little bit of time to be comfortable around new people, but she will be your shadow otherwise! She would be perfect for a single person seeking companionship or for a recent retiree looking to spice up their time at home! She will even sleep in bed with you! Please consider adopting this special girl, she deserves the world!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Who doesn’t enjoy a Reese’s Cup?  Well I am a four year old calico beauty and my name is Reese. I love to play with toys- laser, feathers. Shimmery material on a stick- whatever you have would probably catch my attention works too! I also enjoys laying on her cat tree and looking out the window at all the action below.  I am still adjusting to a new foster house and new people as I have only ever lived with one person before where I was the one and only. I received ALL the attention. If you like sweet cats and think I could be your next furever friend- apply today at www.buffalocares.org   Adoption fee: $ 100.00 RR048  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All dogs come fully up to date on shots, microchipped, heart worm tested, de-wormed, on flea and heart worm preventative, and spayed/neutered.  If interested in learning more or adopting please fill out an application on our website at www.buffalocares.org. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Joanne spent the majority of her life outdoors living under a porch. A good Samaritan took pity on her and brought her to the shelter. We don't know if she's ever had a home but we couldn't bear to put her back on the street to suffer. She's quite frightened of her new surroundings but fortunately she is all bark and no bite! After a few good neck scratches, she even starts to purr. She definitely wants love, but she will need a quiet home with a patient and experienced family.

Story
Frankie spent his entire young life surviving on the streets of Niagara Falls. He's never had a home of his own so he will definitely have an adjustment period when he finds his furever family. He is sweet and shy and obviously gorgeous! He will do best in a quieter home with a patient family.

Story
We will be moving abroad to south east Asia and I don't think it would be fair to him to put him through that if the right person will love him here. He rarely gets on the furniture, preferring the floor or a bed. He comes and says hi and has a snuggle and then gets down, usually stretching out on the floor just hanging out. Since we got him, we have had young children and he is really respectful. He has safe spaces that the kids can't get to but comes in the family areas on and off through the day saying hi. He will need someone patient and to have his own space in his new home to decompress and settle in as he is anxious in new situations. He loves to be held and look over your shoulder and in the winter sleeps on the bed with us. His only fault is he's greedy and will get podgy if allowed. He is a great companion and I love him dearly.
