Story
Angel & Buffy, desperately need a home as their owner was not able to keep them. Very well behaved in the house. Love to play especially rubber balls and fishing rod toys & shoelace. They are less than 2 years old. Shots/Neutered/Spayed. Takes about 2 weeks for them to get used to you. After that they are really sweet. They may shy away from being approached with hands over their head at first, but this goes away as they bond with you. I wish I could keep them but have cats of my own. They will make really cool lifetime companions. Can tell you more when we talk. INDOOR ONLY! They are content and happy to be safe & loved indoors. They will give you so much affection and joy in return. Beautiful kitties and fun to have in your life. They just need their furever home! (original names were Hunter & Yella)

Story
Libby and Indy share a story of courage, healing, and quiet determination. These two beautiful one-year-old girls came to us as true ferals who had never been touched by human hands. Indy, the momma, was pregnant when we brought her in but sadly miscarried. Both girls carried fear in their eyes and had no idea what it meant to trust or feel safe. Over the last four months, we have worked with them diligently, giving them time, patience, and love. At first we were not sure if they could ever be domesticated, especially Indy, but she has blossomed into the sweetest soul. She is learning how it feels to be cared for and cherished, and she is discovering her own playful spirit. She loves curling up on a warm lap, tossing around her toy mice, and she has a soft spot for kittens, other cats, and even dogs. Libby is her own kind of special. She is quirky, cautiously affectionate, and still figuring out how to love with confidence. She wants attention so much but gets a little awkward in how she approaches it, and sometimes gives gentle love nibbles as she learns bite pressure. There is nothing mean in her, only a girl who is healing and trying her best. These girls are bonded in a way that only survivors can be. They lean on each other and bring out the bravery in one another. They will need a home that is loving and patient, a home that understands that healing takes time. They are very shy and will likely take longer to adjust than most cats, but once they connect with you, that connection is deep and meaningful. Libby and Indy have been around other cats and dogs and do wonderfully in a calm and understanding environment. They are both spayed, up to date on vaccines, and ready for the next chapter of their story. The adoption fee for the pair is $100. These special girls need a special human, someone who sees past the shyness and meets the love waiting on the other side. If you have a gentle heart and a peaceful home, Libby and Indy will reward you with the kind of bond that only trust can build. Story
It is our most absolute delight to introduce you to the one and only Mr. Shay! Shay came to us as a medical intake from Forsyth county, after he had a surgery to repair a degloved mandible. This is where the muscle, skin, and tissue of his jaw was detached from injury to his jaw, and needed surgery to repair. He came home in our care with stitches, as you can see in some of his photos. He has been the best patient, never messing with his stitches, taking his medicine like a pro, and being the goodest boy at the vets office. His stitches have since been removed and his jaw looks AMAZING! You wouldnt even know he had surgery looking at this cuties jaw. No special requirements are needed for Shay, he is fully in the clear and is like any other kitten for his age. Not only is he a trooper and adorable as adorable can get.. he is truly the whole package of a kitten! Humans? LOVES them Cats? LOVES them Dogs? LOVES them He is the sweetest, most affectionate boy ever. He is always down to cuddle and loves to sleep in bed wit his foster parents. When not cuddling with them (which is what he wants all the time) he is playing with the other kitties and the pup in his foster home. Shay has been good with his introduction to the pup in his foster home from day one. This pup is good with cats, him and Shay often play tag together! As far as kitties go, Shay loves everyone and just doesnt understand if a kitty isnt wanting to be his friend. He always wants to be friends with everyone. Shay is eligible for adoption come the beginning of December. He is FIV, FeLV negative, up to date on his vaccinations, and will be microchipped and neutered before adoption ( already scheduled ). If you are looking for a loving velcro kitty who is adorable and sweet, just all around amazing - look no further, you found your boy! To bring this sweet boy home, fill out an adoption application here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NLCR/Cat *Foster-to-Adopt opportunities may be available to approved applicants.
