Story
Available now!   Mufasa is a sweet, sweet fluff who happens to be FIV+. He can safely live with other cats because he is sweet and docile. He's a lover, not a fighter! He enjoys gentle play with other cats and likes to chat with the hoomans. He does need to be brushed regularly. With a healthy diet and regular vet care, he can live a nice long life.   Our standard adoption fees are $99 for adult cats and $150 for kittens. Kitty's adoption fee covers spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, age-appropriate distemper vaccines, FeLV/FIV combo test, flea treatment, microchip & registration, and dewormer.   We believe that kitties need a feline friend! For their health and happiness, we highly recommend that kitties be adopted in pairs. If you adopt more than one kitty, you will receive a discount of $25 per kitty. Previous adopters will receive a $25 discount on their new kitty.   If this will be your first kitty, we suggest that you check out this site for a lot of important information: Cat Adoption Checklist. People think cats are easy pets, but they are very unique and there is a lot to learn. There is a lot of information online, and you are always welcome to ask us our advice.   You'll want to make sure you have all the basic supplies before you bring a baby home: nutrious food, bowls (not plastic), litter, litter pan, litter scoop, toys, scratchers & cat trees, nail clippers and a cat carrier. ##2365473##

Story
Grayson is a rescue from Iredell county animal shelter. I have had him since he was 6 months old. He is about 3 years old now. He is a indoor/outdoor (mainly indoor) cat. He is chipped and neutered. He is up to date with his shots and takes fur ball gel once a week with his food. He is good with kids and other cats as well. I am not sure about dogs since we do not have dogs in our area.

Story
Hello, my name is Ghost. I lived outside for 2 years of my life until I was trapped and spayed. It took me 7 months to calm down and love my foster. Now I am the sweetest, happiest cat, but I still don't like loud noises. I love to climb up and down my cat tree and lie in the sun. A mature, quiet family (no kids under 10) would be a good fit for me. I'm good with another cat and dog as long as they are calm. If you can be patient with me until I get comfy in your home, and you're looking for a beautiful companion, please call me. XOXO  Ghost ##2528144##

Story
From his foster "Meet Irving — A Quiet Masterpiece with Extra Toes There are many examples of beauty in this world—a sunset over the ocean, autumn leaves glowing beneath sunlit skies… and then there is Irving. Irving is a 1-year-old black and white domestic longhair whose elegance stops people in their tracks. He arrived at a Lucky Cat Spay-Neuter Clinic in a trap, and even then, it was impossible not to notice how truly exquisite he is. As if his striking good looks weren’t enough, Irving is also polydactyl—blessed with extra toes that give him those charming “mitten” paws. Often called Hemingway cats, polydactyls are known for their thumb-like digits, a harmless and endearing genetic trait historically considered good luck, especially along the East Coast. These special paws do require attentive nail care to keep him comfortable and healthy. Irving’s personality matches his refined appearance. He is quiet, reserved, and a bit shy—but not closed off. With patience and a gentle touch, he leans into soft petting and especially enjoys scratches around his head, neck, and under his chin. When he’s comfortable, he rewards you with deep, rumbling purrs that say more than words ever could. Irving will do best in a quiet home with experienced cat caretakers who understand the importance of moving slowly, respecting boundaries, and earning trust over time. He is not demanding or flashy—he is a gentle soul who simply wants to be understood and cared for properly. Irving is a truly lovely creature, inside and out, and he deserves a calm, compassionate home where he can feel safe and cherished. For the right person, Irving will be nothing short of extraordinary. " ##2621051##

Story
Who knew that a little grey could lighten up your life so much?  Well, I know!  I am a beautiful grey boy with light green eyes and a touch of white on my chest- it's my super hero mark. I love to play with other cats and run around, pouncing on toys and my siblings. I have a purrbox that will soothe you, but remember, I am a busy kid so I will only stay in your arms enough for a hug and kiss- well a few hugs and kisses- then, it's off to explore, putting a smile on your face as you see my little tail scuttle around the couch. I enjoy being around dogs once I know they are friendly and playful. Can't wait to meet you so I can grow up in my forever home. Please complete the application on this site or go to Linktr.ee/ncfnrescue. ##2544772##
