Great Pumpkin is an absolute lover, and a rare female, long-haired redhead!! (She thinks you should ignore the haircut, and says it's rude to stare. When she came into our care her fur was extremely matted... it has been cleaned up, and her glorious long fur is beginning to grow back in.) After spending time on the streets, Pumpkin is taking full advantage of the good life... she likes to sleep 20 hrs a day, and spend the rest of her day on someone's lap or in the sun! (She's a perfect work-from-home office buddy!) Our vet estimates Pumpkin at approximately 14 years young. She loves jumping in the window to lay in the sun. She doesn't seem to mind other animals, but mostly she wants to be left alone and will let them have their space, too. Please note Pumpkin has vision loss due to some corneal scarring. Our vet says it is not painful for this sweet senior lady, and does not present any issues or discomfort. For 14-ish years old, the vat says Great Pumpkin is doing well!
