Story
I am a stray kitty and have been living outdoors. My new mommy has me in doors & I do really well. I am such a good boy. I use my litterbox, like I should. I eat when mommy feeds me, and I just love to rub on her and look deep into her eyes. Sometimes I get excited & like to get close to her face. I can't help myself. I am so excited to show how much love I have to give. My mommy is working on fixing my matted furs. Some lady gave me a bad haircut. I do not have the best hair cut right now but my hair will grow back, and I will be such a handsome boy. My mommy took me to the vet, and I heard them say that I tested positive for FELV. My mommy and daddy were sad and now scared to let me play with my stepbrothers. I understand. I know they only want what is best for me and I love them for that. I know mommy wishes she had more room for me to roam so she could keep me and have me retested in 4-6 weeks. Mommy is looking for someone to love me, retest me, & take care of me no matter what.

Story
Hello, I'm Liberty! I'm a smart, sweet, and curious kitten. My world is full of wonder and I'm always ready for a new adventure. I may only have one eye, but that doesn't stop me from exploring every nook and cranny. I was found on the 4th of July, hence my name. I'm not just a kitten, I'm a survivor. I'm independent, yet I love to cuddle. I can play with a ball of yarn for hours, but I also enjoy quiet moments. I'm looking for a forever home where I can continue to grow and thrive. Adopt me and let's create wonderful memories together! These are abandoned street animals or unplanned litters, some of older age, and many with a shy temperament. Their prior history is sometimes unknown. We make every effort to check the basic health and personality of each animal.CAT:Every adoptable cat is currently vaccinated (FVRCPP), vaccinated for rabies (if 16 weeks or older), spayed/neutered, treated for worms, treated for fleas, micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).DOG:Each adoptable dog/puppy is currently vaccinated (DHPP), vaccinated for rabies (if older than 16 weeks), treated for worms, treated for fleas, spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm (if over 6 months of age), micro-chipped and started on ear mite treatment (if required).Upon adoption you will be given a health record to take to your veterinarian. Adoption fees are typically $90.00 for kittens, $50 for cats and $300 for dogs/puppies unless otherwise stated. We accept cash or debit/ credit card only! These fees are subject to fluctuation, if deemed necessary, depending on season, amount of adoptable animals in our program, and/or breed of animal. The adoption fees help us recover a small portion of the money that we spend on these animals. Thank you so much for your interest in a shelter pet!!!
