Story
Bear is a bit of an aloof kitten.  He can be cranky until he feels safe and he trust you.  Once he does trust is is quite a purr ball! He has been around other cats but not out with them.  He will need a quiet home preferably without small children.October 24, 2024, 12:50 pm

Story
Hi, this is Phoebe Buffay she is a quirky lovable and playful blue tabby. She was born around June 2015 turning 11 this year. Phoebe loves playing with the laser pointer and will bug you all day for pets and tummy rubs. She isn’t a fan of being help but she will sit as close as she can to you all the time. She makes playful chirp sounds and has a high pitch meow. She has lived in the house with another cat and she gets along fine as long as she has her space.I think she would thrive as an only pet to a family or single person but if she has room she is fine with other cats as well. Phoebe did great with my kids even if the pulled her tall or fur she never scratched just whined about it. She loves to be brushed, loves toys. We have always trimmed and clipped her nails and given her baths she complains but doesn’t try to scratch you up. She has mainly been an inside cat but we have had used a harness/ collar and lease with her before and walked her outside. Current shots will be given

Story
Hi, my name is PeeWee because I was the smallest survivor of a litter of 5 born in a PAWS-OK foster home.  My mom was a Siberian and when she got out of her owners home for a few nights and got pregnant. They didn't want the "mixed" kittens(?).  Their loss because I am a gorgeous "mini Maine CoonX cat.  I don't like a lot of change (see my stink eye ^^^) am shy of new people, and don't like to be held and cuddled but I'm not agressive.  I'd like a quiet home where I can relax, get groomed (my hair is a chore for me) and learn to accept people touching me more. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.   January 11, 2026, 4:40 pm

Story
Pilot here.  I came from a litter of 5 born in a PAWS-OK foster home. My mom, a Siberian named Kay got out of her owners home for a few nights and got pregnant.  Her owner didn't want "mixed" kittens => her loss!  I am very cautious around new people but come round to letting them touch me fairly quickly.  I am NOT fond of being cuddled but I'm not aggressive.  I'd like a quiet home where I can relax, get regular grooming and be the center of attention!

Story
I am a gorgeous long-haired sweetie who would love a new home with a patient, experienced cat owner because I am SUPER SHY, especially at first. Once I know you and I feel safe, I am a devoted lap cat and have a silly habit of playing fetch! I came to PAWS as a very shy small kitten and my first foster mom fell in love with me and adopted me. When my home situation changed I came back to PAWS-OK and now I am looking for a great new home. Fair warning - I will attempt to hide under beds, dressers etc at first, when presented with new people and places but I will adjust with a steady "nudge" in the right direction. I have lived with small kids and a rowdy dog (in my first home), and hold my own with the cats and the well trained dogs (one is over 100 pounds) in my foster home. PAWS-OK is committed to finding me a new home with a patient, kind person who will fall in love with my awesome personality!
