Story
I am a gorgeous long-haired sweetie who would love a new home with a patient, experienced cat owner because I am SUPER SHY, especially at first. Once I know you and I feel safe, I am a devoted lap cat and have a silly habit of playing fetch! I came to PAWS as a very shy small kitten and my first foster mom fell in love with me and adopted me. When my home situation changed I came back to PAWS-OK and now I am looking for a great new home. Fair warning - I will attempt to hide under beds, dressers etc at first, when presented with new people and places but I will adjust with a steady "nudge" in the right direction. I have lived with small kids and a rowdy dog (in my first home), and hold my own with the cats and the well trained dogs (one is over 100 pounds) in my foster home. PAWS-OK is committed to finding me a new home with a patient, kind person who will fall in love with my awesome personality! PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.   March 13, 2026, 12:20 am

Story
Tortillini is as loving as she is unique. She enjoys gentle affection, cozy naps, and spending quality time with her people. Story
Biggie is a talkative, sweet girl with a reserved charm and a cuddly heart. She loves spending her days lounging around the house, keeping you company, and batting around her beloved toy mice. Feather teaser toys on a string? Absolute favorite. When she’s not in play mode, she’s perfectly content napping nearby or calmly supervising whatever you’re doing. This moderate-energy queen is very go-with-the-flow. She’ll snooze while you’re at work, enjoy a few evening zoomies (nothing wild!), and then settle in to relax with you. Biggie truly just wants to be where you are — studying, doing chores, eating dinner — she’s your little shadow. In fact, she prefers to eat when you’re eating and loves sitting close by during household activities. She knows her name and responds to “stop that” and “get down.” She uses her litter box like a pro and has great house manners. While she’ll tolerate being picked up, she really shines when it’s cuddle time on the couch. At night, she can be a bit clingy and has a funny habit of licking or gently nibbling arms — and she’s very intrigued by hair (especially twists!), which is something she’s still working on.Biggie has handled visitors calmly and doesn’t seem easily stressed. She’s a loving, attentive companion who thrives on connection and affection. If you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick who will chat with you, study with you, and curl up beside you, Biggie is your girl.

Story
I’m looking to rehome my cat because I’m no longer able to give him the time and attention he truly deserves. Due to changes in my schedule and personal commitments, I can’t provide the consistent companionship, playtime, and care that are so important for his well-being. He is a loving, sweet, and wonderful companion who thrives on affection and interaction, and I want him to have a home where he can receive the time and devotion he needs.

Story
We adopted Gato four years ago from an animal shelter. We believe he is around five years old. He is a very cuddly, sweet cat to all humans. He gets along well with our two dogs but was definitely suspicious of them at first. He is bonded very closely with our other cat Frankie so I hope that they can be re-homed together. It took him quite a while to get used to having another cat in the house so I think it’s best that he goes to a home without other cats. He loves sitting in the window, enjoying sunshine and watching the birds.
