LOOKING FOR FOSTER-ADOPT HOME! Poe is truly a one of a kind kitten. Born with the cutest little face, the fluffiest fur, and zero tail, he's impossible not to fall in love with. Poe is incredibly sweet, loves to cuddle, and isn't shy about letting you know when he'd like a little extra attention! He's also a fan of other cats and would enjoy having a feline friend to keep him company. Poe is looking for a family that will appreciate everything that makes him special. He has Manx syndrome which means he has some weakness in his hind end. He has an adorable squatty little walk and just doesn't have quite as much strength in his back legs as most kittens. Because of this, he sometimes struggles emptying his bowels and needs assistance with cleanup afterward. The good news is that this isn't painful, and it doesn't stop Poe from living life to the fullest. He plays, cuddles, explores, and enjoys being a kitten just like any other. His condition may improve as he grows, or it may stay the same. Only time will tell. His veterinarian is optimistic about his future and expects him to continue having a good quality of life. Poe simply needs an adopter who understands that he may always require a little extra help and is happy to love him for exactly who he is. In return, you'll get an affectionate, chatty companion who will fill your home with love. Poe is microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, and negative for FeLV/FIV! Due to his condition his neuter will be done at a later date when he is older. Because of this he is looking for a foster adopt home! This just means he can go to his forever family as a foster and once he is neutered you can officially adopt! Our Rescue is 100% donation based all the way to adoption. We do not have set adoption fees, but we do require a donation to be made at the time of adoption. Donations go towards saving other animals and preparing them for their new lives in their new homes!  Please visit our website www.wereokfoundation.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
Hi, my name is PeeWee because I was the smallest survivor of a litter of 5 born in a PAWS-OK foster home.  My mom was a Siberian and when she got out of her owners home for a few nights and got pregnant. They didn't want the "mixed" kittens(?).  Their loss because I am a gorgeous "mini Maine CoonX cat.  I don't like a lot of change (see my stink eye ^^^) am shy of new people, and don't like to be held and cuddled but I'm not agressive.  I'd like a quiet home where I can relax, get groomed (my hair is a chore for me) and learn to accept people touching me more. PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008.  All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home.  We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes.  Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age.  A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours.   If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK  for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form.  Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days.  If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.  If we cannot help you, we may redirect you to other sources for a cat that may better fit your situation.  Thank you for looking at our available cats and kittens.  If you have any questions, please reach out for us at pawsokrescue@gmail.com.   July 17, 2026, 1:02 pm

Story
Cowboy is my name and being beautiful is my game! My 2 brothers and I were born into a colony in a NW OKC neighborhood that a nice lady was feeding.  Unfortunately she wasn't spaying or neutering and the colony was getting out of control. She came to a PAWS-OK fundraiser and told her story or our director who agreed to take the youngest at that time (us 3) if she would work on S/N for the rest.  I am a beautiful boy with a loud purr but shy about approaching new people.

Story
Meet Gizmo!  He is a 3 year old black Maine Coon Mix looking for a new home through PAWS-OK.  He has lived with another cat and small dogs in his previous home.  His owner passed away last fall and her husband relinquished her cats for us to find great new homes for.  Gizmo DOES REQUIRE GROOMING MAINTENANCE ( and doesn't care for it a bit!) so anyone looking to adopt him should have some experience with keeping a long hair cat coat in good condition. Story
Harry is the last of 4 kittens born to a stray a kind lady took in. He is a bit on the shy side.  He is a happy playful boy that will just take a little time to warm up.  He definitely would do best with one of his siblings. Kittens of this age we like to get adopted in pairs.  He has been around dogs but not out with them. They have not been around children.July 12, 2026, 7:11 pm
