Story
"Hello my fellow followers, Burger here again. I have an estimated date of birth of April 4, 2016 and have been with KLAWS since March 2018. I have been such a good boy in my foster home but would love to find the purrfect furever home. I love to play with all sorts of toys and love to be the center of attention. My foster has even dressed me up and I don't seem to mind much. (See pics in comments 😽) On October 16th I will be going to the vet to have my dental done so I will be fresh and ready to go. My teeth will be all looked after ready to settle into my forever home." For Burger to be the best boy he can be he will require a home with no other pets and someone who can shower him with the love and attention he deserves. He is looking for someone who will help him with his transition and stick with him as he settles into his new home. Burger will require a consistently calm environment to help him be the bestest boy!! Burger eats a special urinary diet and is currently on chlomicalm, which is an anxiety medication, which should be continued in his forever home. Please send an email to 4klaws@gmail.com if you have any questions or are ready to welcome Burger into your furever family. Adoption Fee: $200 (includes deworm, deflea, vaccinations, microchip, neuter) To help us find Burger a purrfect family, please care and share 🙏🏻🐾❤️ 🐾If you are able to foster for KLAWS, please email 4klaws@gmail.com to request an application. Story
Ozzy was surrendered to us due to a change in lifestyle in his previous home. The shelter environment was stressful for him so Ozzy was placed in a loving foster home so we could learn more about him! We learned he takes time to settle into new environments and doesn`t respond well to change. It took Ozzy a week to feel comfortable and show interest in human touch. He needs an adopter who understand he requires time to decompress before beginning to bond. Ozzy`s coat will require maintenance and help with grooming isn`t his favorite, this is something that his adopter will work toward over time. Another option is to have him professionally groomed. After a few months in foster, he is doing great, and here are some notes from his foster mom! Ozzy is a 2-year-old neutered male cat with the soul of a lounge singer and the appetite of a linebacker. Most of the time, he’s as quiet as a ninja in slippers—until his stomach starts composing a symphony of hunger. Then? Oh, you’ll know. He’ll perform a one-cat opera at your feet until treats rain from the heavens or wet food fills his bowl. He’s the kind of guy who greets you at the door like you’ve just returned from war, even if you were just grabbing the mail. He’ll follow you around like your shadow, except fluffier. A true social butterfly, Ozzy believes every room is better with him in it.He doesn’t mind being picked up and once he gets comfortable with his surroundings he may get up and sit next to you on the couch or in a chair or even snuggle up next to you in bed while you’re sleeping. He does like to be up high, so you may find him sleeping on a counter or dresser top.Ozzy would love a feline buddy around his age to wrestle with and plot world domination. He’s not super into toddlers (they’re loud and unpredictable), but he’s working on his trust issues one slow blink at a time. Now, brushing? That’s still a bit of a betrayal in his eyes. But if you sneak up while he’s snoozing, you might get a few strokes in before he wakes up and files a formal complaint.Every day with Ozzy is a little more snuggly, a little more loveable, and a lot more entertaining. He’s a sweet boy with a big personality, and a bigger love for snacks.Ozzy hasn`t been dog tested but this can be arranged with an approved application. He seems open to the idea of having a feline friend. If you`re interested in meeting Ozzy please email hshpe@humanesocietyhpe.ca
