Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Hockney's story in pictures: Hockney is a loving, warm kitten who is a little quieter than his brothers. He's very active but just doesn't trumpet his conquests as much as his siblings. The pictures depict Hockney asking for HEB Lone Star crackers, helping himself to the bag, licking his lips for crumbs and then satisfied because he got a cracker! (He takes his crackers to the food bowl for eating.) Please note that he isn't covered in household dust--that is cracker dust! Hockney also likes to sleep on his back--partly because the floor is cool and partly because he loves to have his belly rubbed Hockney deserves his very own furever home where he can love his humans and be loved by them!

Story
Sunny was adopted at the Salem Oregon Humane Society location by my brother, about 8 months ago. My brother passed suddenly last week, and his wife cannot care for 3 cats, nor afford 3 cats. She is keeping two others, mainly because the two have lived together much longer. Unfortunately, Sunny seems to be the odd man out in the trio. I would take him, but my landlady forbids cats. Sunny is such a lovable boy that I would be willing to get a different apartment that allowed cats, but we simply don't have time. My brother's wife and children are moving to an apartment she can afford at the end of December. So, we really hope Sunny finds a new, good home pronto. Sunny is an extremely affectionate cat. He may be a bit shy at first, but he will open up once he sees love. Please help us get Sunny a forever home.

Story
Moonie was left behind by one of the neighbors about 2 months ago. He’s a soft, healthy and well fed indoors cat. He loves cuddles and is very friendly! I love this cat, but I’m not financially stable to continue taking care of him. Unfortunately I don’t have any medical records of this cat, and he has not been neutered yet. Please help Moonie find a loving home

Story
Jenna Girl showed up at my garage March 2025 pregnant and homeless. I cared for her as best I could but I wasn’t able to prevent her next pregnancy. I decided to take her into my home along with her seven kittens at 2 days old. She was the most amazing mother never leaving her babies for several months except to go to her vet appointments at RAD. The kittens are all gone now to their forever homes. Now the time is overdue that Jenna finds hers. She is super sweet and loves to be pet and picked up. She is completely content catching up on her years of missing out on rest and relaxation. Jenna is very independent. She isn’t interested in being in a home with any other cats or kittens. She’s an indoor cat only now but must have windows to look out and see the outside world!! She also loves basking in the sun, scratching posts, cat trees and treats. Jenna is very special to me but I can’t keep her. If Jenna isn’t what you’re looking for, sharing her story could help.
